There is mixed news for Napoli, because while Rennes seem to have dropped Kim Min-jae, they now face Premier League competition for the Fenerbahce defender, said to be Tottenham.

No idea if we'd go for him, but I think he'd be a really good option to cover any of the back 3 positions. He's big, strong, quick, good with both feet, good in the air and pretty composed on the ball. Would strengthen our Korean connection too. I don't really see a downside at a pretty low price. Sure he'd love to team up with Sonny too.

I'll tell you a Downside.

He has a habit of rushing out of defence to try and win the ball, usually unrealistic attempts, leaving gaping holes in behind.

Think Romero, but without the success.

Yes, strong, quick, but I wouldn't want him and Romero in a back 3. He'll need Conte input and then some.

I guess it depends what he's been told to do. I'm sure Conte would address those sort of issues pretty quickly though. Just seems to me that he has a better all round skill set than Sanchez and we'd be quids in with the right deal, and I'm certainly not anti Sanchez.

He may well have improved, I haven't seen him play for a while. Used to see a bit of him when he was playing in the Chinese Super League, you could get the games on Freesports then.

Dunno why we aren’t all over Gleison Bremer for €30m or whatever. Think he’d be perfect for us and seems a good fit for the physicality of the Premier League.

We’ve been linked to him for the past two years, I don’t think he’s good enough for us now.

They might of course want more, but Napoli did sign central defender Leo Østigård from Brighton on Monday

There has been interest for over 2 years now. After the tour and Sonny's age you could commercially could see why we'd still be interested. Not that I think he's a bad player because he's always impressed with the bits I've seen, but if there is a resurgence in interest, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't magnified after seeing our popularity first hand in S. Korea.
