The article below includes a map showing the land owned by Spurs.

There is a lot of scope for developing housing but not on the scale envisaged by the Prof.

Meridian Water, behind the stadium, is being developed by Enfield council too, in a huge way. Plus Drumsheads moving into the IKEA space. The whole area is a huge brownfield site to be developed (hopefully for the benefit of current residents too). So there is huge potential for the area.

That map is well out of date and doesn't include the old Sainsbury's site. I pulled the attached from Land Registry a couple of year's ago. It lists the properties owned by Bahamas based TH Property Ltd.

As far as I'm aware the only properties still sitting within the club ownership (Tottenham Hotspur Ltd) are the unbuilt Hotel, Extreme Sports Centre & Apartments, south of the stadium.

The one certainty is that Joe Lewis is going to cease to be the owner within the next few years - he’s 86.

I’m sure his family will at some point want to realise the value they have in Spurs.

By all accounts his daughter is heavily involved with the club so i'm sure it will just be passed to her when he passes.

They didn't split the real estate from the club, they separated the entire "brand" of the organization and created Braves Holdings, LLC. That includes the Atlanta Braves, Truist Park and The Battery (the hotels, shopping, etc that are tied to the park).

Thank you for clarifying.

Is this seen as a good thing or a bad thing?

It won't be passed to her.

The shares in ENIC are held by a family trust. That trust will survive Lewis' death, and is used for estate planning purposes.

So we don’t want a Middle Eastern takeover due to blood money etc or someone like Liberty who ‘might’ be like the Glazers or Boehly who is a fish out of water or Musk as he’s a lunatic…who do we want then? I have no clue myself but I’m starting to think the grass may not be any greener elsewhere and Enic minus Levy may be the best option…but Levy ain’t going anywhere so fucked if I know!
Think that's just you mate

I wonder if Live Nation could sponsor the stadium? I don't know if it would be possible for one of LMs companies to sponsor another but it would be a logical naming rights partner for the stadium.

We already broke the licensing limit by having an extra Beyoncé concert, so I’m not sure how much more the stadium could be used. Unless there’s an NFL franchise, maybe that wouldn’t come under the same licensing rules?

Edit: already been mentioned, apologies.
Just the other day it was reported that we and have agreed with Haringey council that the limit on concerts would be lifted. max for non football events per yea is 16.. Would think that’s good bye to some rugby
We have 2 x NFL then can all be concerts if we wish.
Adele for a week perhaps. Foo Fighters are touring next year. This is the advantage of hiding the pitch away.

I assumed they would sponsor the stadium if Liberty bought a controlling stake.

A chance to lower tax burden for LiveNation, put some cash in the club, and it seems like a win-win opportunity.

I am pretty sure that limit was for this year only.

But, it certainly sets up future negotiations to allow more concerts by decreasing other events.

If it gets us pre-pre-pre-sale windows they can sponsor what they like..

It has been agreed for this year as a start/trial, and no more than 3 events per week.

Pretty sure all the land bought by spurs they then bought off the club by a sister company at fair market price. They have subsequently sold a stake in that for a decent profit. Pretty sure they gave sound logical reasons for it. However knowing the stadium plans were going to massively increase the value of the land. Selling them to themselves for a price they knew was under the true value sums them up. Whether its separate enough that if they sell the club they will take ownership of all that land with them is anyones guess

I'd be surprised if this is true. Companies usually have to have an independent valuation of assets to be able to sell them across entities.

It's auditable. However, I could be wrong, there could be a way of doing it.

Where did you see this?

I wonder if the Saudis coming in so strong has put others off
It's probably accelerating processes, so those without a sports franchise or without a PL team, don't want to be left behind. It's the status symbol.
