I’m not entirely comfortable with the whole idea of being involved with QSI, but if we are to go down that road anyway then I’d much rather a full take over.

No point being part of a sports washing operation if we’re just going to have the same bunch of chancers making decisions.
Yeah I’ve deliberately been trying to stay away from the ethical debate on this topic because at its core it’s a nasty business. But unfortunately it is the nature of the sport these days and my feelings towards the matter won’t change it from happening or not. And ive supported Spurs all my life and I’m not going to stop now.

But this is it, would having any minority shareholder, Qatari or otherwise, actually change the way we operate as long as Levy and ENIC still call the shots. Personally I don’t think so.

Everything in Qatar is ultimately owned by the QIA though a bit like with Saudi and UAE etc.

So as I said this group will probably be buying Liverpool to get round the PSG issue.
Which also makes sense. It could also be a case that they want to have fingers in as many pies as possible. Minority in us and the whole of Liverpool. I’m not sure it would do us many favours but who knows for sure. I guess we just need to see how this plays out.

Come on, deep in your heart you know we’re not winning the lottery. It’s never us.

QSI are a subsidiary of QIA which means they are effectively owned by QIA and are the same company so QIA cannot just buy a majority stake in Liverpool and pretend that QSI are not part of the same company that owns PSG.

yeah that’s pretty much it. Not much anti Conte but so much apathy. A bit like under AVB. I would have left at half time but then would have had to deal with real life so stayed even though I knew what was coming!

I think the stadium is just too big for us. Too many tourists, too much emphasis on the “experience”. £6.90 for a neck oil now when the brewery is in the stadium.
SIX POUNDS FUCKING NINETY

Fuck everything. You need a mortgage for a fucking beer these days. Fuck the world that let this happen.

Get the nukes out, start again.

The "news" about the Qataris investing in Liverpool instead is killing me, not gonna lie.... Liverpool fans on twitter are jubilant. Wish we had some of that for once.

I would give Paratici a blank chequebook if I had that kind of money.

Far more hits than misses, imo. And it seems his bigger issue is offloading players, which would be less of an issue if we were willing to take the financial hit on sales.
Don’t know, still have PTSD from gattuso and nuno to trust paratici

tbf weren't we super close to foncesca and everyone bullied it into submission. Like not saying he would've been good but like we were really out there forcing their hand into a "name" and unfortunately all the good ones wanted nothing to do with us at the time or Levy said no - ten hag

It’s ironic that ‘doing it the right way’ involves fleecing ordinary fans more than any club in the league, and probably the world, based on the comparative success those fans have seen.

Actually these are perfect. Just everything right except the results on the field. I hope QSI can see the potential and not give up on us. What we sorely lacking is basically what they are best at. Please broker the deal and wrestle the control away from Levy.

My dad is flying out for work to London in a couple of months, we at the beginning of the season were talking about taking a trip out to finally see the stadium and see the team play in a competitive setting for the first time (we've seen them in LA everytime they have come out). I don't know if I really want to right now, like I love this club so much but IDK if I really want to give Enic any of my money at this point. I'm so fed up with this whole situation. Everytime we take 1 step forward we take 2 back. I understand that it is what it is, but I'd feel dirty spending all this money just to see this club while they don't care. They don't care about putting the best product possible on the field. This is an insanely complex situation in terms of takeover and idk if I'd ever feel better about coming if it did happen but I just wish i had a chance to see WHL. sorry for the rant just so flustered about today

I thought the stadium beer was reasonable when I got charged 7.20 for Guiness in the heart of Yorkshire and 6.20 for Neck Oil in Bristol last week

Yet people will continue to pay it.
That’s why nothing ever changes because the ? keeps rolling in for them.
It’ll continue to do so too - so many football tourists these days that the stadium will always be full. Sadly Levy knows this and has us by the short and curly’s. It’s why me and other mugs continue to buy season tickets as it won’t make a blind bit of difference if we stop, some other mug will snap them up otherwise.
