Utterly bizarre that they took the video down, I wonder if there's a good reason to trying to keep it quieter or if it's just raging paranoia. It'll be interesting if he's not announced before open training today whether they have him hide out in the gym or something rather than appearing and letting the cat out of the bag that everyone already knows.

They only announce when all the papers have been lodged with the PL and they have international clearance - it's the only prudent thug to do.
Obviously still paperwork to do.

There is no way he would be training with us unless that was official. If Swansea had any doubt he'd be with them playing with the Youth Team like Modric did a couple of years ago...
It must be that we are waiting on the outcome of Vorm and Siggy before doing a joint announcement

I wonder if the delay is that they're waiting for Vorm to join the squad from UK? Archer had to go back due to sickness, so all we really have to play GK is Friedell. Maybe they decided to bring Vorm in for the remaining fixtures and will have the duo announced together?

My guess would be that we want to announce Davies and Vorm at the same time.
To be fair, most clubs probably are but we're more tuned into our club. The lambert & Lallana deals also took an age to be announced I seem to remember. There will be a reason, paperwork or Swansea/double deal in this case as I'm sure the club would like to give out good news ASAP. Morgan S could also be quite far along but being held while we complete sandro's move etc.
As long as we are getting the right players in that's the main thing and we can all take this one as completed anyway. No way he'd be training if not.

Well there is an Open Training later today.
So we have two choices:
A) Announce it up til then and present him as a special part of the show

Would be a very spursy thing to show pictures of a player we haven't officially signed training with the rest of the squad and then not actually sign the player
