This Swansea lad Rodon while I must admit I know nothing about him but Trevor Birch will have passed on first hand knowledge to Jose and so it is possibly a smart move and home grown seems like a win win situation .
I don't think this will be that bad of a move. Pep is a very attacking manager and is very demanding of his players. With Jose, he will probably just tell Stones to keep things simple and concentrate on just defending and not playing tikki taka at the back.
