I clicked so you don't have to (I should make a new username just for these kinds of posts.)

Spurs want Diaz and offered up to £46m. Porto happy to hold out for £66m as interest from elsewhere and Diaz isnt desperate to leave. Spurs might offer Dele, GLC or Gil in part exchange.

Or all three.

For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.

Why are we always making bids that fail? Why are we always in negotiation? Why do we make our moves very late in the window? Why Why Why.

Levy is still operating in full effect.

How many of the reported failed bids do you think were actual formal bids (or even informal enquiries)?

Yeah, I mean, why do we even bother negotiating at all? Let's just pay everyone what they want straight away. ?

We honestly not the only club that will make an opening bid that isn't accepted, it's really pretty common. (Unless you're Ed Woodward!).

Its common and very boring...most times when we start messing about with bids and start "negotiating" we tend to lose out, Grealish being the prime example.
