Goes some way to shutting up all those who are banging on about 'Where would Tottenham be without Kane's goals this season?' Never go along with that sort of argument anyway.....doesn't make any sense.

Yet fans are banging on about Eriksen not doing enough defensive work. Yes,there is some truth in it but a top should be able to "afford" some "luxury" players in the team. Barca have 3 of them,

I agree. This argument that people use of being a one-man team is always a fallacy. What about the saves that Lloris has made? Or the blocks of goalbound shots that defenders have made? Or the passes that contributed to Kane's goals?.... and so on.

I always get annoyed when people use this one-man team argument - Bale was slightly different in that there were many times his goals were of his own making, although it still didn't take into consideration the saves made, the....well you know the rest.

So, where would Spurs be without Kane's goals...in 6th place?

I don't think so.

We have a pretty decent goal-tally this season and it's nice that our midfielders contributes with goals. It's just a shame we have defended so poorly. Only 4 teams have conceeded more goals than us, FOUR! That's not top four material. Not trying to be negative or slag our defenders, but we need to tighten up at the back next season. Would be nice if we could defend as a unit, an not like 10 individuals

Oh dear, you appear to have missed the point, which is that other players are scoring as well as Kane and not instead of him. Kane is our leading goalscorer among three in double figures and we're the first team to have achieved that this season. Is it becoming clearer?

No, but the argument is then where would Chelsea be without Costa's goals, where would Man City be without Aguero's goals, where would Arsenal be without Sanchez, where would United be without De Gea. It's all relative. It's a nonsense argument. It's as if people want nobody to excel or have a good season at a club. How dull would football be if every player had a mediocre season!!

Personally, I've never said that our team is a one man show this season, it wasn't with Bale either. But Kane is saving Pochettino's but exactly as Bale saved AVB's but. In that aspect only; no difference.
