We are lacking brains
not brawn.
But I suppose brains
are too expensive.
Pity, just as Sisssoko is coming good.

If we do indeed have anything in place at all it may just be an agent drumming up interest to get his client a better deal.So we've got 0.1% of the deal done then.
His decision to cut inside and place a perfect cross right onto the on running Lamela's head was pretty good. He’s a bit old to suddenly come good. He simply isn’t technically gifted enough, his decision making isn’t good enough and I don’t think he’s got the picture in his head of what is going on around him. He’s honest though and will run though brick walls for Poch all day long but let’s not kid ourselves that he is going to become some amazing midfield player because he isn’t.

He had a pretty decent game yesterday and was involved more often than Kane and did less wrong than Davies.
Yes it was a good cross and yes he had one of his better games yesterday. Still he ran into dead ends and lost the ball several times. He has a terrible habit of running with the ball at one of our players that is stationary and then laying the ball off to them but does it so badly that player immediately has 2 players on top of him. He very often looks terrified to receive the ball and panicked to know what to do with it at his feet. Now I'd never boo him at a game but lets not kid ourselves that he is ever going to be at a standard that is what we should be aiming for. As for comparing him to Davies and Kane, yeah Davies wasn't great, neither was Trippier, neither were a few others. Kane has 7 goals in 8 games so I'll give him a pass. Sissoko had a better than average game and he's only had a few of those in 2.5 years.
