Don't see this one happening to be honest, sounds to me like he's a low on the list option and some trigger happy journalists think sounding out is more substantial interest than it actually is. A bit like having low self esteem and getting overly excited that somebody asked what your name is.

Why is he so cheap? I know 1 year left but 10-15 is still very cheap for a HG player of the required standard.
It’s not that cheap when you haven’t really established yourself. People on here are talking 5m for dier who, despite the grievances on here, has played prem football for nearly a decade and represented England a number of times vs a young cb who has a year or so in the prem for a mid table team. 10-15 sounds perfectly reasonable

He would also be coming in as a 4/5th choice cb so space to gamble a little on youth and hope he develops as he’s unlikely to be called upon for any sustained period

Went to a few Fulham games last season and he constantly gave the ball away. Error prone and not an upgrade on what we have

Didn’t Fab mention there were three on our list with Tapsoba and VDV being two. Not sure Tosin actually is the third in all honesty. Probably an option further down.

I see more of Fulham than any other team other than Spurs, due to some family born there. Also get families viewpoint as they watch all the games. I can't argue that he hasn't made mistakes, but i'd very much argue that he doesn't constantly give the ball away (he may have done in the match/s you saw, but if he was truly that bad at giving the ball away then he wouldn't have stared 25 games for them last season). I'd also say that any defender who's team plays out from the back will make mistakes at sometime, the 'art' is to keep those mistakes to a minimum (and hope they aren't costly mistakes).

I can't comment on the games you saw, but i've seen him play very well in some games, being very dominant in the air against strong strikers and being very good on the ball in other games. I've also seen him make a few mistakes but i'd honestly say that over the season he was way more positive than negative.

He'd be coming to us a squad backup player (to Romero), he's a good age and home grown - i really can't see how ''he's not an upgrade on what we have'' . I honestly don't know what standard people expect our back up CB to be - we've just finished 8th, haven't won a trophy for ages and the regular starting CB for a team who finished 2 places behind us isn't rated good enough to be our back up ??

Yeah at that price point we are just swapping tosin for tanganga who hopefully goes for similar money.

Finally someone linked to him ! although still no ball park fee reported.

I mentioned previously that Fulham fans said he wanted to leave for more first team football (started 25 games for them last season) so for that reason it always seemed it might be difficult for us to convince him to join (as understudy to Romero) if that was really the case. However a significantly larger weekly pay packet can be very persuasive, so who knows.

Tosin has a fairly bad attitude apparently from what I hear, a bit premadonna etc.

But then my friend told me that about Spence from when he worked with him at Fulham when he was a youth player there and there have been absolutely no bad words about Spence’s attitude since joining us.

Says Tosin has offers and very likely to leave as I said before as only 1 year left on his deal but keeping his cards close to his chest as to if he favours PL move or europe.

Also Marco Silva has had 2 offers from a Saudi team and isn’t being backed how he’d like in the transfer window this summer, Mitrovic is also being tempted by the Saudi dollars, will see how that develops but as for Tosin he’s likely on the move and I reckon now Fulham have signed Bassey, Tosin moving somewhere could happen quite soon.

We shall see.

Fulham are buying Salisu & Bassey to replace him and he is good enough for us?

I know, last year of contract so they have to sell, maybe that's why we are interested, it's the market that we deal in( last year of contract)

Look this chap is capped at u 19 level and have not got anyway near the England squad since then

Meanwhile others like Guehi Tomori & Colwill has all moved ahead of him and these 3 are the ones we should be targeting

Really don't think he is much of upgrade at all

If Tosin comes in to start as our main centre half, it’s a very valid concern. Otherwise comparing an expected 3rd choice to starters.

I swear there are some people whose analysis always just extends to 'this player doesn't get into the national team whilst *insert other player* does' and 'why are no other big clubs in for them'. Top tier stuff lads.
