We have a real chance if we don't fuck it up in the next two games. I'm more worried about those fixtures than city and arse.

Right I've clearly lost it because I just checked the fixtures and saw Chelsea away 3rd game from the end of the season. And thought... Yeah we could potentially win the league at Stamford Bridge. I think I'd best get on the phone to NHS direct.
Unfortunately, looking at the usual script, Arsenal have a but of a decline (starting to happen), lose heavily in a CL game (I think they will v Barca), then have a good performance in the 2nd leg but still go out, go on a ridiculous run of wins in the league :(

Then again, the season has been far from usual.

Problem is, we'll be doing well to improve 5% on our budget and constraints.
United, City and Chelsea will all have new managers and will spend £80m+ each.
Liverpool will have had a pre season with Klopp and he'll add.
Arsenal will probably add another high profile player to their first team.

It really is now or never imo. Carpe Diem

I also think now is fantastic chance but i'd expect us to improve again next year. The age of our squad and Poch's ability to develop young players would suggest that there is still plenty of room for improvement. If we get an alternative to Kane we'll have good options through out the squad. Achieving at least top 4 will allow us to keep all of our players, and having a settled squad could give huge dividends next year, imagine where we would be if we didn't have the slow start to the season (and a better pre-season schedule)!

I've set a little list of our results for the first half of the season to compare with 2nd half. Want to see where we drop or gain points in relation to our first half performance. At the moment we've one point less as we got a draw against Leicester first game but lost 2nd.
Means fk all really, just doing to amuse myself.
I think we'll pick up more 2nd half (provided Kane stays fit) as I really can't see us picking up as many draws and we look different class to all but possibly Arsenal and Man City.
I still cant see Leicester keeping this up much longer. Definitely punching above their weight. Amazing stuff.

I think we are joint 3rd from most points dropped from winning positions, I thought I add some balance
I make it that we have dropped 11 points from winning positions (4 draws and 1 loss), so you are probably right. I checked the rest of the top 5 and Arsenal have dropped 7, Man Utd 4, Man City 3 (to us) and Leicester 7.
