Seen him many times for the reserves. He's first choice now Alnwick is on loan at Leicester. Seems fairly promising and made a stunning save on Monday in the Fulham game, flinging himself to his right to tip a deflected shot over the bar.

I just wish that people would stop thinking that it's a small step from the reserves to the first team. The likes of Huddlestone and O'Hara were put out on loan first before they made the step up. The reserves is not the place to look for quick-fix solutions to the first team's shortcomings.

It is a big step from the reserves but judging by some of the performances of our 1st team goalkeepers this season i can't understand why Alnwick or Forecast are not being given an opportunity in these last few games. Especially as it seems likely both Robbo & Cerny will be elsewhere next season
