What an absolute joke of a club we have become. Tim Sherwood? Until the end of NEXT season.
This is going to end badly.
Very badly...

Why are people disliking some of the comments? Are we all supposed to be over the moon about it? I totally understand the negative comments.

Good luck Tim and I hope you bring some dignity back to us.

Well maybe I'm alone here but actually I'm made up for him, I think its exactly what we need right now, He knows the club through and through, knows the players and knows all the younger players coming through like we say Sunday in Bentaleb, Maybe now we will have a manager who isn't scared to blood our own youth homegrown players, I for one have been wanting this for a long time. He knows the football we like to play, He could go on to be a fantastic manager, time will tell but I'm pleased with this one, Its about time we looked within the club.

I have a theory regarding the 2014/2015 business.

Chelsea were heavily criticised for announcing Benitez as "interim manager", with people saying that players didn't care as there would be a new manager next season etc.

I think Sherwood is still being given the remainder of the season to prove himself. If he doesn't do well, I am sure he will still be gone and a new man will come in. It is just trying to create an illusion that we have some stability and are not a managerless club.

I was surprised Tim got the interim manager role and am surprised he has been given a 2 year contract but best of luck to him.

I was fully behind Avb which unfortunately didn't work. Tim has been in the background at spurs for a few years now and I hope he will succeed and be spurs version of De Boer (who I was hoping would be appointed since Harry left)

I think a major plus in this is that Ramsey is a first team coach now and with his and Sherwoods youth knowledge we might actually start to see more of our very talented youth team be brought into the first team set up.

Anything is better than uncertainty with so many games coming up. Levy's got himself out of a hole. If Sherwood does amazingly for the rest of the season, we get into top 4, he's hailed as a genius for promoting a young English manager from within. If the season doesn't go well he has time to plan and lots of experienced managers looking for work after a World Cup.
