Admittedly, due to work, and the constant moving of games for TV, my visits to The Lane have been very limited this year. Managed to get me and both sons to the Wycombe cup game, and got to 1 CL game at Wembley, so as I know I won't get any cat A/B games at WHL tried for Watford as probably the only other home game I can make this season.

Nothing.

So, so disappointing, and therefore no chance to say a proper good-bye to the old ground having been going since 1966.

I think it would have been just as fair to open ALL games to the same ballot, although I realise this attracts those who ONLY want the Cat A/B games, but if it's for members, I don't see why that's a problem.

So, just got to live with memories of many years.

Not happy, but I know there will be those who say tough, just because they can get to every game but still don't get drawn.

You could try for Bournemouth?

I got a ticket but the system is flawed.
It asks what your max price is by stand.
I'd pay £45 for the east Lower is that's all there is, but I'd prefer the south lower. But by saying I'd pay up to £45 for the east thats the only stand I'll get in.
It should he any stand that has tickets under your maximum budget. Surely?

It's a deeply flawed system in that you have to pick a price ceiling, rather than being able to individually select the areas of the ground you would like to sit/stand in, so you'll get Park Lane regulars who want to make a bit of noise being given tickets in the Paxton and vice versa. It wouldn't have been difficult to implement a system like that, and I believe the THST asked the club early on in the season to reconsider and change it accordingly.

For the first 10 games or so the number of applicants was only marginally higher than the number of tickets available that it makes you wonder if the ballot was even necessary except for the last handful of games. I suspect had they done that there would be less people frustrated about their chances (or lack of) to go to WHL for the last time and savour it for that reason.

I was unsuccessful in the Everton ballot and just got an email from the club offering a ticket for the match due to cancellations. Too short notice for me to go, and luckily managed to get Southampton tickets, but why so many cancellations?

It seems as though people are applying who have no real intention of actually going. Same thing happened for the Swansea game. Feel sorry for the real fans who haven't got anything in the ballot.

Got same message and sickening that it appears so many tickets all over the stadium suddenly became available.

Similarly failed in ballot but was fortunate that my son and I were given use of a friends season ticket as they couldn't go. However, my other son who normally comes with us has still not got ticket.

Members only. You could go out and buy a half season membership though and have the same chance at getting a ticket as me, who has had a membership since the 90's!:D
I've been a member on and off for years, but currently off due to living in the north and being a poor student! :( Will have a look at the membership options though, as I'd love to go one last time, and take the old man too...

Too late for that. The ballot's already closed for every remaining match bar Arsenal and Man United, which are done on loyalty points. If you want to go now you'll have to pay for a second-hand ticket.

It's annoying as I booked holiday off, applied for Everton, got declined, cancelled my holiday and then got offered tickets 2 days before the bloody match so too late to sort anything out. Bit of a nonsense way of doing it really.

I saw. Damn!
You can try Stubhub but you'll have to pay quite a bit more than face value - and unless you're loaded it won't happen for either of the final two matches. You can also follow HotspurTickets on Twitter and hope to find something on there :)

Thanks for the tips - just followed the HotspurTickets and will have a look at stub hub. I'm looking at the Watford and Bournemouth games specifically, so hopefully they'll be less crazily prices than Arsenal and Utd!

I got one for Watford for 60 quid (excluding fees) in block 32. Most of them were going about 125 in the North Stand, so I am pretty happy with that.

Does anyone know if the Bournemouth tickets have been decided yet? Normally I check on the day and see if my loyalty points have changed, regardless of if they email.

Wondering if I've been unsuccessful or if they just haven't been decided yet..

Cheers gang

EDIT - or I could have just waited for people to reply to Hughy :oops::oops: my bad, haha.
