Sandro is beginning to give me a semi. I'd like to see him get a run of games.

I'm really intrigued by the idea of playing this formation when everyone's fit:

Gomes

Corluka Gallas Dawson Bale

Huddlestone Sandro

Lennon VDV Modric

Defoe

Huddlestone and Sandro together could either fail to work or be brilliant.

A tad harsh on BAE though, condiering hes been one of (if not the most) consistant player week in week out this season.

I wouldn't mind seeing that formation for european games/ games against the likes of chelsea, arsenal, man u, man c.

Awesome news. We've missed him and I think Modric will be delighted by this news.

He's not a fullback, but he could quite easily be one of the best wing-backs ever. It would be a formation for games where we want to pack the midfield and keep possession, with bale as a weapon from deep. Not the only option in what is a great squad (bar up front)

How so? IMO Huddestone is a squad player, not 1st choice as I have always maintained that he is overated. The little that Sandro has played has already shown me that he is a more complete footballer than Huddlestone. Huds main strength is his long passing of the ball, when not under pressure. (Now you can all shoot me down)

Sandro is looking immense at the moment, but thudd is one of the best passers of the ball in the epl- before he got injured he made the cm position alongside modderz his own

Thudd > Palacios, Jenas, Sandro

Now, don't get me wrong, I really like Sandro and was so impressed by him last night and believe he has got a very, very, VERY bright future. But to say he is a more complete footballer than Hudd, when he has realistically played well in the last 3 or 4 games is silly.

The Hudd was on fire before he got injured, running our midfield alongside Luka, and is one of the best passers in the Premiership. Granted he hasn't got the physical attributes that Sandro has (ie pace, tackling ability, heading ability) but on the otherhand, Sandro hasn't got the passing ability or vision of Hudd. This makes me think they could be a very good partnership...but then what do you do with our other midfield maestro's?! Oh, the joy of having a cracking squad.

hudd and sandro in a genuine 4-2-3-1 could help us stop leaking goals. it's just a shame one of bae, modric or vdv misses out (i feel we need lennon and bale at least to make it work).

Which games did he run? Was it the Wigan game? Or west ham? Maybe it was sunderland at home or when he came on at Bolton ? His standout game was Inter at home ...

Don't think we miss him much or his mythical vision.

We need to be at full power for the run in .

Hudd has the ability , does he now have the drive and discipline to make the most of his God given talents ?

On fire ? Running our midfield ?

Just running would be a start.

Huddlestone is Sandro playing in slow motion. He can pass but he takes two three touches before dispatching his passes, majority of the time. Huddlestone has one fantastic shot at goal out of tens other wayards shots. His hollywood passes are also hit and miss at times. He has improved defensively and his work rate is good.
However, he does not have the quality to be a first choice in the current Tottenham Hotspur. Does it imply he is shite? No but just not first choice material.

I seem to be in the minority who feel that both are exceptionally good footballers.

How naive of me.
