Let him work with Poch? Poch has worked with him and doesn't seem interested.I really hope we recall Onomah and let him work with Poch. With his athleticism, I think he could be a good back up option for the Sissoko role in a midfield three.

Thanks for the information. What type of player is John? Can you can name the other ones to watch out for? Really appreciate your insight as usual.
FT 3-0
Roles is having a good season be good to see him on the bench.
With Verts, Dier, Victor, Sanchez, Dembele, forth all out could be a few surprises next few games.
Never heard of Johnny Nfleko and Kymani Thomas before.
Just got back from the game, as I live quite local - one of the 131 Spurs fans who made it!.
3-0 was a bit harsh and they played a strong team who out muscled us in the main and scored from 2 headers from set pieces (it looked like men against boys at times in the first half when the conditions were awful), but we put some good stuff together at times and Roles hit the inside of the post in the second half.
Players that impressed me were in the main Marsh and Roles. Roles never gave up throughout the game, and is a good passer, and Marsh seems to read the game well. Players that disappointed were TOB and Sterling, considering their reputations and I had high hopes for Sterling before. He missed a 1 on 1 in the first half, and did not play with a great deal of intelligence in terms of his runs etc from what I could see.
Unless some of these lads improve fast they will be trying to scratch a living in the lower leagues, before they know it, but as we all know it is so difficult to make it to the top.
Edwards started for Excelsior's 2nd team yesterday.
We could not cope with the number 16 who played on the right and we was allowing him to cross the ball far too easy.Watched this game tonight on oxfords I player . I agree with you TOB and sterling were woeful , how many chances did sterling have and messed up every single one . didn’t even notice TOB On the pitch in the first half . I know it’s Tracey first game back but he was terrible . Hinds did ok as did Tanganga . Marsh was ok but resulted in booting the ball up field unnecessarily sometimes , but he was out of position playing centre back . brown was poor . Bowden misplcaced 80 percent of his passes . I don’t know what Duncan brings to the table ,went on a couple of runs but resulted in nothing and normally ended up losing the ball . Austin struggled with his distribution today as oxford would not allow us to play our normal game from the back , which resulted in him booting the ball up field , which more often then not ended up to an Oxford player . Clarke I thought struggled terribly on the left often losing the ball . Even though Roles took a bit of time to get into the game , when he did he was definitely the stand out player for us , just pure inteligence on and off the ball with his clever through balls and the way he was taking on players tonight was fantastic , even his curling shot that hit the post was great . Roles was also picked out in oxfords report as tottenhams stand out player. Having said all that Oxford were too strong for us and their goals were from set pieces .

Roles is the only player who is ready for the step up.
I don't blame TOB or Hinds in the first half because the match was played mostly down our left so they did not have much of the ball,no excuses for the second half they move TOB inside a bit more but still it did not work.
Bowen is a good player but it was the worst I have seen him play and as you say kept giving the ball away and looked completely lost but he was not alone in that over half or team was poor on the night.
Agree during the match most Spurs fans was saying Men vs kids and their was a moment in the match when one of our players got kicked up in the air and a Spurs fan shouted out "do you mind the kid has got to get up for School in the morning" so I think most understood what was going on at the time and I have seen the u23s play worse than they did last night and will probably do so again in the future.People need to remember it’s a massive step up, playing against men, if one or two players come in to the first team they have first team players around them better player who will help them, when you out a whole team of kids vs men it’s going to be a big shock. Glad roles played well he is really stepping up this year.
Anyone know what park Excelsior ressies play in?
