Hamburg have signed Tottenham's Rafael van der Vaart on a three-year deal, according to "Bild". Fee of about €13m
Hope that fee is a joke.
on the bild website, it says "according to British sources". fun.

I will be fascinated to see if we get any insights, once the dust settles, on what the hell the facts were with our negotiations for Lloris.
I originally thought that Dembele was a Modric replacement, but the more I think about it, the less convinced I am. We still lack someone with a good passing range to spread the play from deep. Yes, Dembele can play there next to Sandro or Parker but he likes to keep his passes simple. If Moutinho is out of our reach, why aren't we looking for others who can pass? Or why haven't we tried Huddlestone?
If Moutinho does sign somehow, then he will be a guaranteed starter but then does Dembele play next to him at the expense of Parker and Sandro or ahead of him at the expense of The Sig and Rafa?
I've always expected Vdv to go, and the more I think about it, the more important it seems that we get Moutinho. He's clearly the one player AVB wants.
quick question:
i am new to twitter, can anyone recommend any decent footy journos to follow for last day of the TW?
