I'd say that Trippier, Aurier and KWP are capable of putting decent balls into the box but don't do it enough. Conversely, I'd say Rose and Davies hardly ever deliver a decent cross and Vertonghen showed them how to do it v Dortmund and highlighted what we're missing.

Annoyingly in the 2017/18 season, he was all about quality deliveries and, after finishing with 6 PL assists, ended the season as the 4th best fullback in the league.

God knows whats happened to him since.

Lousy defender. No idea why people would advocate getting rid of our current RBs both of whom are poor defenders to replace them with someone equally as bad defensively.
BUT HE CAN RUN REALLY FAST.

He's always needed a run of games to get his eye in. He was really good last season and has never really bee able to get going this, which is a shame. He's a solid and very useful squad option though.

I think Aurier is a reasonably good player, but he doesn't quite have that explosiveness and he is much more of a traditional full back than a wing back. In that respect I don't think he's suited to being able to really provide a threat out wide. Teams can just narrow up on that side knowing that Aurier isn't going to be too difficult to stop.

We could probably bring in better, but Trippier isn't good enough either and is not going to improve.

I'm hoping we can secure top 4 as soon as possible, and if we do then KWP should be given a run to see if he'd be up to being first choice.

Rose, whilst poor yesterday, has had a much better season this than last season. I think we should stick to him and Davies for now unless somebody exceptional becomes available.

Ludovic Blas.

21 year old French, left footed, central midfielder playing for Guingamp in French Ligue 1.

Started his youth career as a striker, then moved out to the wing and now plays central - similar to Dembele career path.

Remember the name.
Mentioned him to someone in PM last week. Seen him 2x against lyon in the last couple weeks and was impressed. Watched another game against Bordeaux in midweek to follow up. He seems a good player. Not sure I see any comparisons to our Dembele though. Totally different players. Blas seems to have more inside forward/winger in him than true MF. Or did you mean Ousmane Dembele?

Kik Pierie  [ Left footed Centre-back — 18 — Heerenveen]

Kik was the youngest player of the group and was already starting for an upper mid-table Eredivisie side so I wasn’t expecting him to move anywhere: at Heerenveen, he is in the ideal place to continue his development. He finished last season as the team’s third-most-used player and is their most utilized outfielder this campaign.

While he started the season at left-back, he has been exclusively playing as a left-sided centre-back since the start of December. In my eyes, this is the best position for his skill-set and the place where he should find his highest value.

Being only 18 and an important starter for his side, he is in the right place for now. But it would be nice to see him eventually make the jump to a big Eredivisie team.

He looks extremely confident and in my mind is a potential successor to Jan Vertonghen.

tbf united fans are equally perplexed why half our squad arent lining up for them atm. the natural pecking order of clubs is breaking down and football will be better for it.

But they shouldnt be equally perplexed, as we're competing with them on a regular basis , and currently above them, Palace are nowhere near us.

Yes United pay more in wages but, its certainly not a like for like comparison.

Pretty much earmarked for Man City.
Are we just saying that every good player outside the top 6 is going to City now? They have Walker & Danilo, doesn't seem like RB would be high on their need list. Not that they really have any needs anyways.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is where we should be putting our money at RB. Kid is absolutely mustard.

Well, BBC reckon it's Arseanal who lead the queue for his services.
