Better, considerably. I'm loving hearing the kiwis moan about negative boring tactics. Long may that continue.

Farrell clear number 10. Sexton would need to be at his very best to stand a chance and he's off that level right now. Biggar was never really going to challenge for a starting test spot.

Be interesting to see who starts next Saturday. I don't trust Gatland one bit but he deserves credit today.

I can maybe see the Lions getting poleaxed in the first two tests before "rotating" and picking something close to a would be form/picked on merit side in the 3rd test and running the all blacks close.

You just have to shoehorn Farrell and Sexton into the starting XV somehow, don't you think?

On another note, listening to the NZ commentary down here it's so refreshing to hear Polynesian names pronounced correctly rather than hearing the bastardisation in the UK. For example, it's closer to 'tier or' not 'tee owe'.

Great win lads. Well done.

I'm not sure both have to be picked. I like the idea but I'm starting to think just go with Farrell and stick Henshaw at 12 ( although I'm expecting 'Tier or' unfortunately.

People do realise that NZ play a pretty similar game to the so called Warrenball, right?

I also thing a lot of you English fans forget that you've played the most boring, uninspiring rugby for the last 30 years and it's only Eddie Jones who's changed that in the last year.

Not an expert on Rugby who would be deemed the lions best player?

Argentina 17 - England 13 at HT, on BBC2 now.

Tough to win this, going ok but too many errors currently from a young team. Scored a great try though and some good performances so far.

Don't ask him to hold onto the ball or catch it all the time. Not so good at that.

Farrell to start at 10 and Sexton on bench. We have to be defensively sound at 12 and 13 and I dont think Sexton is.

We did get a of bit luck with the ref's interpretation of the scrum - was a bit perplexed by his decisions at times.

Farrell did have 5 successful kicks but only got 12 points.

Was a much better performance. Pity not to see Hogg or Davies play the whole match. I think Davies will start in the tests. Not sure about who will start at fullback.

Is this just "bantz" because you are welsh or do you actually think this? I will give you a pass if you don't watch much english rugby and he was quite one dimensional early in his career. He has completely changed all that and is now comfortably the best 8 in the northern hemisphere.

Not only his carrying but his defence and ruck work is world class.

Oh and what I actually came in here to post was that england have finally found a number 7 and it isn't underhill. What a ridiculous performance for an 18 year old in argentina.

It's got to be bantz. E17 watches rugby and I'm sure he's well aware the Vunipola he describes no longer exists. Billy's game has come on leaps and bounds over the last 2 years. He's a world class player, not just a world class ball carrier.

Falateu has a big claim on best Lions player. Unheralded but a class act. I was looking forward to seeing him and Billy in the same backrow. Dreamy. Weirdly, in terms of overall skill and talent, the other from this family, Mako has a claim on best all round actual rugby player too. Incredible hands for his position. The games in the garden at this families BBQ's must have been test level encounters!

England Argentina was brilliant from start to finish. What a game of rugby! I thought all the new additions fared ok, Solomona was laughable in defence but then scored a cracking try. The win was based around Ford, Hughes, who was superb, and Launchbury ( who is actually so good every game thesedays that he never gets mentioned, it's virtually expected that he has a great game )
Ford was outstanding. The future is looking ridiculously bright for England. We could see a few uncompetitive years ahead in the NH. Always been a risk if England actually started punching their weight. The youngsters coming through now and in recent years are pushing it on another level.
The under 20's are currently missing 3/4 key players because they are in Argentina. They'd be certs to win the under 20 World Cup again if they were in Georgia instead.

Agree. Arguably, the best four locks in the Home Nations are English.

Still his twin brother (Ben) to come in, who if anything is rated even more highly at this point in their development and was going to play the Baa Baa's game until getting injured and his twin (Tom) took his place!

Wilson had a great game for England too yesterday and Genge is a tank. He is going to challenge Mako and Marler next year
