That's a low blow that. It was a long time ago and we have all forgotten it ?

True. ;)

I grew up with the Welsh teams of Mervyn Davies, Gareth Edwards, Phil Bennett, JPR, JJ etc and they're looking good again now so all I can resort to is the brief period when they were a bit pants! :D

So did I. My first Wales v England at Cardiff Arms Park was the day Keith Jarrett scored lots of points on his debut. 1967 I think. I remember the English fans were chanting World Cup Triple Crown.

Growing up in the 90s wasn’t forgiving being a spurs and Wales fan. I had Dale Macintosh and Craig Quinnell. Mind you I’d take Scott Gibbs in his prime now. And I love J.Davies but Alan Bateman was a mini hero of mine so it wasn’t all bad player wise, though the results most certainly were.

That Scott Gibbs try at Wembley - never forget that win. Bateman was seriously good. J. Davies - what could he have done in good team - will never really know.

April 11th 99. Ingrained in my memory.

Scotty danced over the line and they laughed no more.

So elliot daly has decided to leave wasps and saracens are favourites to get him. Would be a great signing for sarries.

Not enough club combinations in the England side. Hopefully Sinckler and Curry join them too!

Obviously no offence to Quins and Sale fans!

How about Mako, George, Lawes and Billy to Quins then?

Now we're talking!!

On another note, not sure how Daly is going to fit into the saracens squad without breaking the wage-cap...

Or you could regionalise. Wasps, Quinn and Sarries forming a London team. Bath, Exeter and Gloucester South West region and some northern one for the rest.

The fans will love it.

Bearing in mind the wasps/quinns history, you might as well ask everton and pool to become one again...

I like what you're talking though, could be like regional lions superleague (not in a northern league sense)

Or you could have Wessex, Mercia, East Anglia and Northumbria and call it “The Saxon” league.

I think Mercia would walk that league to be fair. Still, would be funny and you’d get that continuity Sugar Ray wants. The fans would think it’s great. I must say I’ve got some great ideas. With my great brain I could be the man the RFU need to take English rugby to the next level.

Elliot Daly signs for saracens. They have a ridiculous squad now and a load of academy guys stepping up also.

I genuinely don't understand how they can have all these players and keep within the salary cap.

Have to say the domestic league in England is going to get very tedious if Sarries keep on this way.
