Two games in a row they've scraped through. Newcastle had a perfectly legitimate penalty turned down at the end, palace hit the cross bar in injury time.

Surely one of their opponents will get the rub of the green soon and Leicester will drop points

Leicester's name is on the trophy, the amount of luck they have had lately has made that abundantly clear

We need to keep getting results and consolidate 2nd, which would still be a fantastic achievement albeit slightly frustrating that we will have finished runner up to bloody Leicester of all teams

No one's name's on the trophy...yet! They're doing great, but the game's taught us all not to take anything for granted. They have 7 games left. Although they've handled the pressure incredibly well thus far, there'll be increasing pressure; and those breaks, which have been kind to them against Newcastle and Palace, could easily go against them soon.

Whatever happens, I'm happy about how we're looking for our run in. We have Verts and Njie coming back, which means an almost completely fit full squad, and just the remaining PL games toward which to direct all of our focus and energy.

Plenty of football still to play. Let's enjoy the ride! Think the 1,2,3 places will be filled by any of Us, Leics, or Arse. I'm just really enjoying watching a Tottenham team, which is playing great football and is currently in a league position which is so alien to us. I just want to enjoy the experience of watching us play our games the way we can!

Can't agree that the best team always win.

I think we've been the best team in the league this season but Leicester have had no european football to distract them. We've played 10 midweek games (5 of which all around europe) whilst they've been training and resting.

Dier commented that now we're out of europe we'll have time to work on stuff on the training ground that we'd not been able to do since before christmas. That's huge.

If Leicester had european football to deal with as well then theres no doubt in my mind that we'd be top of the league.

More fool us then for leaving ourselves with one proper striker and Dier as our only DM all season and not resting key players more earlier in the season.

We knew we had EL football and it was up to us to make sure we could adequately compete in both.

No point moaning about our squad at this stage. The team have to do their job - take each remaining game as it comes and see where it takes us. There are twists to come in the title race yet. These twists may be for us or against us. First job is to win today. Liverpool (2 yrs ago), who were arguably better than Leicester, fecked things up with three games left (at the time no one saw that coming). The pressure in the home straight can get to anyone and I'd rather be chasing than be ahead.

You know its a shame that we haven't got anyone that we could send to the Algeria national team this week to do a number or Mahrez, someone with a bit of needle, some one who loves to leave a foot in after the tackle, someone who doesn't mind falling out with his own team mates..................... if only we had someone that we could send :shifty::ninja:

Shame Nabil has fallen out with Poch

Leicester have had a fair slice of luck but their success is not based on that it is based on hard work good play and no small dose of gamesmanship.
Contrary to nice little fairy tale story they are a massively experienced bunch of players who know, and use, every trick in the book and good luck to them.
Where they have had some fortune is earlier in the season when teams underestimated them went for expected wins and played into their hands, that has stopped,as Vardey's goal tally since the new year shows, but their tails are up now, next year, without doubt, they will not do as well.
More importantly; they HAVEN'T won it yet.

Wow. The amount of you waving the white flag already.

o_O

Dont think its a surrender attitude more one of realism that with only a handful of games left they only need maybe 3/4 wins and its done.
We have had a great season regardless and if We do strengthen well in the summer next season promises to be good to.

Personally I think they have got this now. To have any chance we have to get closer to them within 2 or 3 games to put pressure on them and to start putting doubts in their minds. To do that I think we have to win our next three games. Tough ask

It's certainly not over like some of you are suggesting but we need a win today and wd need to beat Liverpool.

Realistically, we're likely to need 7 wins from our last 8. But that's exactly what's required of Champions.

If we can put a run together when it counts, we'll stand a chance.

Agree and we'll also have twelve derbies to contend with over the season. I can't really remember watching Leicester where the the other team or fans were 'up for it'. They've played all there away matches in a nice serene atmosphere.

Draw two and win the rest and that should put us on 78 points if my math is correct, that would be enough to win on goal difference if Leicester drop points against Southampton, West Ham, United and Chelsea.

I honestly can't see us winning it but you never know what one loss might do to Leicester's confidence.
