Only City have backup strikers that are better than Son, Njie, or Chadli.

Hahaha Njie is injured and Chadli is not a striker..

Actually Njie is yet to score for us and Chadli has never scored when playing up top...

Son can do a job but not his number one position

Drop the Europa? As in just forget about it? Why? Lets go and win the bloody thing. We can and we bloody well better try! This team can go down as heroes. We're in for the treble, man!!
Burning players out in that shit is OK when you're just about able to get 5th in the league.
When there's a very real chance of the title the only people that should be involved in this drain on resources are fringe players. Expecially away legs.
I wouldn't even send the manager over to away games let alone first teamers.

If we were in the group stage fair enough, but we're in the last 32 knockouts against Europe's elite for a chance at the 3rd most prestigious trophy a club can win. You don't just chuck it away, that's small time.

Anyway Poch knows best, he's knows more about the fatigue levels of our players and what they can handle better than any of us can imagine

I think the burning players out thing is a bit of a myth tbh especially as we are looking stronger as the season commences.

How do you think the players feel? Do you think they feel burnt out, they'll be undoubtedly enjoying their football and wanting to get back on the pitch regardless of the competition.

It's arguably not the number one job for Walcott or Welbeck who also struggle to score when asked to play up top. Then there's Leicester who behind Vardy is Okizaki and Ulloa who aren't exactly free scorers either.

Well I really hope some of you guys are right and that we will be fine, but as good as they are, our players energy levels will drop if we carry on the Europa aswell.

The pressing style and the way we play asks a lot of the players and there are plenty of exemples, including us, of teams who couldnt finish the season.

Next Up:

Leicester have Norwich at home.

Arsenal play at Manchester United.

Manchester City play at Newcastle.

We play Swansea City at home.

I can see all of them winning those matches. Swansea can be very tricky if we aren't at our best.

Without jinxing anything, I think we have the best fixture out of that lot.

How comes we always finish the league poorly when we're still in the no-hoper league then?
Do you think it's a coincidence our form since the Monaco game has been our best all season?

What's the lowest amount of points for a title winner in the Prem? Think that record will be beaten.

I think drawing comparisons to now and earlier in the season is a waste of time because we clearly have improved since then.

What you going to be saying when we are playing in the CL, you want to sack that off as well?

I think we're looking at something similar to this.

I strongly believe the fixture patterns favour the champions league. Not to mention I doubt we'd be in the champions league and this close to a league title at the same time.

Sorry but for me we need to forget the Europa.
We're no longer fighting for a top 4 finish, we're fighting to win the bloody league.
A realistic chance for the first time in decades and who knows when it will come again.
To blow that chance because of burn out or injuries due to playing in that fkin Europa tin cup would be a travesty.
You have to be realistic and playing more games home and away in Europe isn't going to help is it?
We HAVE to prioritise.
To think we can win the Europa and the league or that the Europa will not have a detrimental affect on performance is wishful thinking imo.
I REALLY THINK WE'RE GONNA WIN THE LEAGUE..... Shit the bed lol.

I agree, go for League and FA but rest for Europa. Should really go for all but it's not realistic to go for all. Look how congested our fixtures are now, next 3 games aren't league games
