With United hot on Arsenal's arse, I fully expect them to take the game to Leicester. If Vardy is out, I fully expect United to atleast draw the game & most likely win it.

Assuming Chelsea will wave the white flag to Leicester on final day, to me the title will be decided in next 2 round of games. Everton game is a buffer - anything can happen.

This is ofcourse assuming we can do the job in next 4

Can you imagine if something like that actually did happen - I don't know if I could handle it. Last night my wife looked at me after watching the match and asked if I would be crying if Spurs won the title - well I almost cried just reading that article so I can't imagine what state I'll be in if we do actually win it. There will be booze though and lots of it.

Holy shit, dreamland stuff. Made my heart beat a little faster!

It's just a little too unrealistic for me. I think a likelier outcome is for them to beat Swansea, but lose to United. Even then we'll have to win all our games to win the title on GD.

It's scary as hell.

Don't want to sound defeatist in any way, but what this young side is learning from this title push and challenge will benefit us for years ahead. If we don't do it we will be stronger for it

Am I right in saying win next Monday and we have secured top 4 and champs league ?

Well, if Lollerpool win the EL and Man C win the CL then no, we would have to get 3rd place for CL. However, as Arsenal have to play away at Man C it complicates matters a bit. I think we need to get 73 points to guarantee finishing above 4th place and hope our GD holds up.

+1. The experience from this season will be invaluable for them. It will teach them to start the season hard and fast. Next season looks good already!

Not sure I buy this talk of Chelsea rolling over for Leicester. Chelsea fans on Twitter are convinced it will happen and they will lose on purpose.

Why would they? How many of their first team and coaching staff are Chelsea fans? (rhetorical - although @THFCSPURS19 will probably know)

They are professionals and would surely want get a good result for a win bonus, a goal bonus, more TV money from finishing higher, etc.

I can agree that they would probably be more fired up to beat us, that's a given. It would be talked-up more, the fans would be more up for it and the players would feed off that - even the non-Chelsea supporting majority. But I can't see why they would deliberately throw the game against Leicester in the manner that their fans on Twitter and some on here seem convinced of.

Did you see Fabregas on MNF last night he couldn't look at the camera when he mumbled we're all professionals etc.

Actually, come to think of it, I have a very small but dormant amount on my PayPal, and I skipped January donations.
I'll donate, and I pass on an open call to action to other SC members:
I promise to not talk down Alderweireld (or Bentaleb, Mason or Carroll, for those who prefer it:confused:) for a full day per new donation made.
:p:p:p:p:p

Sorry, back to topic.

Whether we manage to close the gap and win the title, whether I never see Tottenham with a chance to win the title again, it has been a sheer pleasure to watch this young team this season! It will be a memory I will cherish. It's truly been an incredible experience. COYS!

Fantastic performance last night and great to see such a comprehensive victory with some excellent goals. I wish I shared other people's optimism about the remainder of the season. Unfortunately though, I fear that Leicester will win the next three. They'll be too good for Swansea, Man U are looking poor and Everton may have a cup final to think of by then. That said, it's been an incredible season for us. I hope the pundits are right that it isn't a 'now or never' situation and our young team can go on to challenge for and, more importantly, lift silverware in the near future.

Yes. Would be 12 points clear of United with probably 25+ extra in goal difference.

How mental is that. 25 goals better off than Manchester United and 12 points ahead of them.
