This guy won the U20 World Cup with England back in 2017 before leaving Chelsea for £25M to AC Milan in search of first team football. We could do a lot worse ??

As I had nothing else to do I compared Tomori’s Serie A stats with Davinson Sánchez Premier League stats and here is what I found starting with Tomori:

And then Sánchez:

Tomori doesn’t look like a clear upgrade to me stats wise but I should admit I haven’t seen him play. He’s also only a year younger (24) than Davinson.

We definitely need another world class CB anyway. It's funny how I've become accustomed to our defence making minimum 1 mistake leading to a goal every game when it should be once in a blue moon.

Just for comparison, how often do you expect Van Dijk to make an error like our defenders do constantly? Probably 1 or 2 a season.

Another CB of Romeros quality and we could be free of this trend ?

I bow to your much higher work rate and investigative skills.

ATM, the perfect partner is Dier.

ATM we look better with Dier Sanchez and Davies, than Romero Sanchez and Davies,
So maybe we should be looking for the perfect partner for Dier ?

He needs someone calm and steady. In fact Dier on top form is a very good balance. Romero is a fine footballer but he’s a bit hot headed and can be rash. That will get better but playing with someone like Sanchez is a recipe for disaster.

We're not looking for a partner to Romero, we're looking for more role players to form a back trio with Romero. The calm experienced lynchpin in the middle, and preferable a left footed cb for the left who must have good movement. Tomori would he yet another player to compete with Romero for the RCB, not to play with him. You could consider whether he is better backup to Romero than Sanchez, Tangana and Paskotsi - I don't know but I doubt he is 50m+ needed.

I think Tomori from what I've seen is a good footballer and think he'll do well in the prem. But he is a kind of sexy option for people as he is English and playing in a foreign league.

Better to get a proven left footer I say

Can you put it in a bit bigger? I have difficulty reading it.

I’m away right now and on my phone but if you want to have a look the stats are on SofaScore.

Edit: or maybe you meant explaining the stats?
