I'm going by what I've been reading on hear over the last few years, and believed the NFL don't want to see adverts for something they don't benefit from. wasn't 1 of the reasons we decided to not put different coloured seats to show a large cockerel in the south something to do with NFL
No, the non-branded seats is because Levy wants this stadium to be used be multiple sports all-year round and be keeping the branding open-ended it allows him to pitch it as wide as possible.

Meaning that the NFL effectively play in their own stadium not Tottenham Hotspur's stadium.

Okay, this is interesting.

This article is from 2015 around the time that VISA renewed their sponsorship deal with the NFL.

It gives some insight into why they would want to sponsor high-profile organisations such as the NFL and the 49ers:

Visa, whose worldwide headquarters are in San Francisco, has extended its partnership with the 49ers and hopes to include every payment system it offers to fans at Levi's Stadium, which will be host of next year's Super Bowl. The stadium also provides the most dynamic testing environment due to the already complex systems set up for in-seat ordering and the high use of the latest technology from its Silicon Valley, early adopter crowd.

"Our slogan, 'Everywhere you want to be' has never been more relevant," Curtin said. "Whether you are using a phone, tablet or any device, we will be there. The payment marketplace has never been more competitive and we hope that consumers use Visa because it's a name they can trust."

The mobile payment business was worth an estimated $325 billion on 2014 and is expected to top $700 billion by 2017, according to technology research company Gartner. Visa has partnered with Apple Pay as well as built its own technology like Visa Checkout, which reduces the steps a consumer has to go through to complete an e-commerce transaction.

"Their evolution into technology will give our fans the best experience in payment innovation if they are at the game or at home," Anderson said.

Hi-tech stadiums and mobile payment systems; certainly links in with our new stadium!

They announced earlier this year that they extended their partnership through 2025

"SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Visa Inc. (NYSE:V), a partner of the National Football League (NFL) since 1995, today announced a renewed agreement with the NFL to serve as the league’s Official Payment Services Technology Partner through the 2025 season. "

edmonton: Naming rights are being kept so secret. Hadn’t heard Visa suggested but that would fit the clues that have been dropped (as would quite a few others).

Wonder if the company buying the stadium naming rights could be our sleeve sponsor too.

Might be why we've heard nothing about the kits.

Thanks Dov

I'm intrigued to see how much we get for them

Danny boy has been holding out for a fairly long time now, so hopefully he's waited for a bumper deal!!!

Wouldn't expect too much. The rams got $17m a year for theirs.

Managing expectations bullet. Hopefully we can get more.

Here's a good write up on how much NFL stadiums get for their naming rights. Basically the money will be going up.

For the Rams - it's in a range of $17 to $20m a year depending on meeting benchmarks. But I think this is a good comparison for what the Spurs can get.

I think this is a bit more realistic:

Maybe the blind optimist, but I am convinced it will be a blockbusting deal at £20m+/year, as we are selling major exposure (1) NFL to a huge North American audience and (2) Premier League worldwide. No other venue I know of has this kind of exposure - Levy will be fully aware of this and will make pips squeak on this deal!...…………...
We cannot be long away from the announcement , surely

If we go into this season without a sponsor, can we please just call it White Hart Lane permanently?

I think most will Hank, even if we get a sponsor.
Yeah most will, myself included. But its official name will not be WHL. I just think it should if we dont get a sponsor. THS is fine as a placeholder but if we go sponsorless, it should be rechristened as White Hart Lane.

My gut feeling is it is going to be called the Audi Stadium (or Arena)

I disagree but if it is anything Audi related I think it'll be using their e-tron branding, it's not really Audi's MO, VAG sponsor Wolfsburg but co-own the stadium with the city. I think the current Audi deal we have (we're about to enter our 3rd season out of 4 I think) they're quite happy just being a car partner.

The big thing I totally under estimated is how much and how many clubs Emirates puts cash into (smells of fish eh)

This is a bit out of date but worth a look (I hadn't realised we had so many betting companies :( )
