pif they met by chance how could the club know in advance he was seeing him?
Oooooooooooh that is a great question, if questions are cutting and straight to the point... Yours would win... Carlsberg of questions
The tension mounts
pif they met by chance how could the club know in advance he was seeing him?
Always respected him personallyGuessing there won't be as many Balague talks shit comments on this one.....
if they met by chance how could the club know in advance he was seeing him?
Guillem, is that you?I would be very surprised if Barca atm. would not in fact be looking at profiles different from Pochettino. They are in no rush at this point.
The article says that Tottenham knew they knew eachother and are aware that they met while he was over there, not that the club were aware that the meeting would happenif they met by chance how could the club know in advance he was seeing him?
First Ferguson and now this guy. Poch does seem to be meeting up with a lot of people he shouldn't be meeting with. Can't say I'm happy about it, you just know he's being tapped up.
Unfortunately all our players were signing contracts while Barcelona had a manager firmly in place and there was little chance of Poch going anywhere. I don't think Poch would turn down the job if he got offered it. But I just don't think he'll get offered it anyway, not this time around anywayNot wishing to sound naive but we have been signing up players to long term deals and commiting their future to spurs, I would assume that they were happy to do this by believing the manager has committed his future to the club for the foreseeable future.
Now we all know anything can happen in football but hopefully if we can win the cup and secure CL football again, this might convince all parties that the club is really going places.
If not then this would set us back again trying to find another manager who has done what poch has done so far, it would be one step forward and 3 backwards if that was the case, however I still reckon he will see it through with us.

This is why I don't think Poch is seriously considering the position. But, who knows, maybe he takes this job for a few years, and then settles down at PSG?Barca never have a manager 'firmly' in place. Enrique is in his third year, it was expected it would be either this year or next that he'd move on. Even Pep only did 4 years with them.
Barca and Real are not like a United or Arsenal. There is no chance of someone nabbing that job and sitting in it for three or more decades.
Maybe he goes, who knows.
I've always liked Eddie Howe, young, English, wants his teams to play good quick football, with a workman mentality and always gets his teams to play above the sum of its parts. However his team's are very open, but that might just be because of the quality of his players.IF he was to go, who would everyone want in? Tuchel seems like it would be an almost seamless transition, would he even consider us?

The biggest problem of replacing poch, other than the sheer quality of the man himself, is to bring in a manager who can keep the majority of the squad bought into the transformation that's going on at this club. It'd be tough and we'd probably have to reset our squad as alli, lloris, Toby, Jan, moussa, eriksen, son and maybe even Kane and the fb pairing would all be looking to bigger things or for one big last paycheck before the end.
God I hope poch stays.
Monk's quality and he's a yid, don't know if you can really distinguish between the two atm in both of there careers. I just have a feeling Howe is less stubborn then monk, that Eddie is always trying to improve himself as well as his side, he's still a bit naive, but has great character and is learning adapting all the time. And I think that's so important in a manager. Not sold on Eddie Howe. I do like Garry Monk, thought he was hard done by at Swansea and is doing a good job at Leeds with tough owners. But, I think we might need a bigger name to keep the squad together. Hopefully this is a nothing story
