Whilst Juve are huge and would expect them to come in for Poch I just can't imagine Poch would want to go to a league where winning the league isn't that huge an achievement.

I can see why Poch would be interested though but he would get bored. Also he will want to compete against the best managers and the best managers in my view are in the PL

Winning it there would be huge but are you only going to go to a club for the purpose of one cup? What if he doesnt win it in his first or second season? what if he doesnt win the league? It is a huge risk and whilst there is a financial reward I just dont see the motivational aspect barring the CL.

The again I am biased. PL is the best in the world and he has stated that many a time. But one thing is for certain, he will definitely leave if not backed.

I could see that so I don't want to totally dismiss it but also the job at Juve is not "build a great project" or do a re-build like Madrid it's "we've invested a lot of money in 30+ prima donas make this work". Would that interest Poch? Maaaaybe. Only he knows but I don't see it

Poch comes across as the one in it for the long term if possible. If he doesn't win it in year one or two he'll be gone. Think he prefers to build projects from scratch and as such the end pay off is much sweeter (see his reaction after Ajax).

Spurs v Juve:

Richer? Spurs
Bigger stadium? Spurs
Better side currently? Spurs
Better league? Spurs
Better facilities? Spurs

Yes, Juventus have more prestige, honours and are in a country with better weather, but I don’t see anything that would genuinely entice Pochettino give what his values and objectives are. Going to Juve would be like going to PSG but at least at PSG he’d have unlimited funds to play with.

Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern, Manchester City, Manchester United potentially. Genuinely, objectively, don’t see any other club worth leaving is for based on five years of Pochettino comments.

Its also worth considering if Juve would actually want Poch? They've spent a LOT of money on building this squad, not to mention on a certain CR7. Poch for all his brilliance isn't a proven winner and surely that's who they would want. Thinks someone like Jose would be more likely, won CL with a relatively poor Inter side and wouldn't cost anything as he is out of work..!

Or am I just clutching at straws?

If Poch turned down Madrid, I pretty confident he'd do so for Juventus. Levy certainly won't be in a rush to release him!

He said about PSG having their league too easy, well Juventus are on an ever bigger streak. Plus having to deal with Ronaldo.

That said they are a massive club and will certainly have him high on the shortlist. A year or two down the line I think Pep will go there to complete his collection. I would say it could be additional leverage on transfers but it didn't work out that way last summer!

Media have already started the bandwagon.

I’m sure they’ll try their hardest to destabilise before the Final.

Article by Neil Ashton incoming
Just days after we beat Ajax Sky Sports had articles with headlines linking Poch to United AGAIN. It really is shameful.
