I really do think he feels like he's hit the ceiling with Spurs and unless he receives substantial guarantees from Levy on changing the club's philosophy to compete with Liverpool in terms of financial outlay then he will leave.

I also think Tuchel will leave PSG this summer and if Pochettino is not happy with what Levy has to say, will ask to join PSG.

I will be absolutely gutted if this happens as I really think any replacement will be a step backwards (unless we are incredibly lucky) but cannot begrudge a guy who on a shoestring has worked footballing miracles and given us the best 5 years of consistent footballing magic I've witnessed as a Spurs fan.

I have relatives that get some inside info at PSG, and Pochettino is who they have coveted for a good few years now. Always presumed his next destination would be there.

He knows that he has helped the club out financially to the tune of about £200m with all the Champions League runs. He quite rightly wants to use the money to get players that will take us to the next level and win the EPL. I am a long standing member of the BSoDL club but if DL don't back the best manager he could ever wish for then my membership will not be renewed.
Pay up Daniel, biggest mistake ever if you don't.

The fact that he has to keep making these little allusions to potentially leaving in such a crucial period is a bit annoying. Not that I blame him one bit, but he's obviously prepared for the fact that his boss doesn't share his vision for the 'next chapter'.

Bit worrying tbh.

Absolutely this. If he was confident Levy was on the same page I don't see why he'd feel the need to keep making these comments and applying pressure. Can't help thinking that a significant amount of the trust developed between Poch & Levy was broken last summer, given that according to at at least a couple of ITK's they weren't talking at the end of the transfer window. If Levy fucks this up I will never forgive him, just give the man whatever he wants (within reason obviously).

Hopefully Eriksen will stay and that will be an important summer signing. Perhaps also Toby, but there is clearly tension between Toby and Pochettino, you could see it during the celebrations against City and Ajax. They have moved passed it to function, but something definitely happened there

And yet we keep hearing that the money was there in the summer but it was Poch who didn't want to spend.

I assume the truth is somewhere in the middle, and Poch didn't want to spend money on the players being offered to him as affordable.

I believe the manner in which he is now conducting himself in media interviews is his way of communicating with the fans.

It's telling us that if he does leave it will have nothing to do with his love for them or this club.
It will be because he is not being given the backing and support that he now needs to take us another step further on our already remarkable journey.

He will leave head high with the respect, appreciation and thanks of ever single supporter.
I fully admit I was not one of his most ardent followers as some of my postings on here will show. The passion he displayed on Wednesday night for this wonderful club was the final confirmation I needed to give him my total support in the future. I hope he stays for a long , long while.

It literally couldn't be any clearer. Poch has taken the team as far as it will go. He doesn't want to spend his career fighting for 3rd and 4th in the PL. Either Levy indicates that we open a new chapter with spending significant funds on new players and rebuild the squad for a proper PL title challenge, or he leaves.

I'm only talking for myself here, but I completely welcome what Poch is doing. If he stays, for me it is an extremely positive reinforcement, that Levy is ambitious enough to want to actually win a PL title. If Poch leaves, it indicates to me and all Spurs fans, that Levy does not have the ambition to spend to win the league.

With Poch we do not have to spend crazy money, Liverpool are up there with a relatively sensible net spend. We have a manager who can deliver us a PL title if we provide him with the tools.

Levy needs to convince Poch that the club will match his ambition. if Poch leaves, I won't be renewing my ST for 2020/2021 and I'll go back to being an armchair fan and support the club from afar as it will finally show what some of us fear with Levy.

I can totally understand his frustration as well. He's worked miracles yet if we don't win the final he will still have people beating him with the 'where are your trophies?' stick, not bothering to take into account the fact he's operating on a fraction of the budget of the teams around us.

“I need to listen to Daniel [Levy] – he is the boss. Our ambition brought us to play a final in the Champions League when no-one believed. But today that is the reality. Now is a moment to enjoy.

Onto the next 5 years it is then.

This place is fucking hilarious, never change.

Seems fair, stadium and training ground completed. had us in the CL consistently
Now it's time for a New project, win titles. If you want to stick to the current way of 0 net spends and happy just achieving 4th spot then goodbye

“But what is next? That is the question. It’s difficult for me to explain."

Does reaching the Champions League final give back to your decision to stay here and the project you have built here?

After five years, I will repeat, after five years, it's a moment to close a chapter. Because it's not going to be the same on July 1 or 6 or 7 when we start the pre-season it's so important to have a clear idea of the project, the way, the challenge that we're going to design to have ahead.

It was very clear five years ago that the priority was always going to be, until the stadium is finished the stadium, and finishing the facilities here at the training ground. We feel so proud because our capacity to manage the situation, that is very difficult, how it affects the football side at different clubs is amazing.

To have this capacity to manage both and after five years be successful, because for the first time in our history Tottenham is going to play a Champions League final and to finish the best stadium in the world. It's a massive success. That's why we feel so proud of these five years. But what is next? What next? That's the question.

What next and how we explain to you and what you translate to our fans, what we want for the future of our club. Of course you know it's difficult for me to explain that. It's a conversation with Daniel, I need to listen to Daniel, he's the boss, the owner. I need to know what I explain to you and you translate to our fans.

Until today it was so clear. Our ambition brought us to play a final of the Champions League. No-one believed, if we said five years ago, in five years we are going to open the best stadium in the world and play the quarter-final and semi-final of the Champions League at our new stadium and then play in the final of the Champions League, you would say 'what do you drink? I want the same'. Yes, but today it is reality. It's reality because of our ambition, our capacity, the effort, that is why I'm not tired to repeat that our players are heroes.

They need to feel the love from everyone at the club, of course our fans because of all the effort we are doing. The players, the staff, all the people who cannot put a face on but they are there working a lot. I want to reward them with our words because all that we suffer to arrive and live this dream and this happiness today at this amazing club, it's priceless.

With all the money to win trophies, to live this type of moment, that's why I broke down and started to cry. It was an amazing moment. When you go back, we had very small dreams, but when you achieve one of the biggest dreams of your life, it's difficult to keep inside. Thats why now it's a moment to enjoy, finish in the best way and play Sunday and prepare for the final, which will be an amazing moment for all our fans. After the final it will be a time to talk a lot and listen. What next?

I'll one up you the whole transcribed question as written by Alasdair Gold.

One chapter has finished it is now time to talk about the next chapter of Spurs progress as a club.
Sounds pretty much straight forward to me.
We just have to hope DL and MP can come out of these discussions agreeing, on the same wavelength and with the same goals to aim for.
