Sounds to me like he’s desperately trying to make it clear to Levy and co that us reaching the semis of the CL doesn’t somehow justify the lack of investment. It’s a crazy run we’ve gone on, with a bit of long overdue luck involved. Like us lot he’s also probably generally a little bitter at the thought of what we could’ve done this season with a couple more top players in the door.

No idea how this summer is gonna go. Personally just can’t see us being able to come out stronger if Toby and Eriksen go. We don’t seem to really have the scouting network to outsmart the big boys and we aren’t willing to spend. Levy obviously will have run the maths but if we drop out of the top4 and lose momentum it’ll be interesting to see how full our shiny new stadium gets on a Thursday night, and at the prices they’re charging. Without attractive football on the pitch I’m not sure the numbers are gonna work to be honest.

nah not Dele he signed a contract and was happy to do so have some trust in this lad he is a good boy imo. Toby and Eriksen have not sign and I reckon Trippier's head got so big he probably thinks he can get x amount more money a bit like Walker.

good info here. The players were likely: Toby, Rose, Janssen, GKN and my guess, based on some non-ITK ITK/ media reports Trippier.
Like the fact he drew a line under it and got a response from everyone.

Ive already commented that the Poch i will go home comments is absolutely nothing but merely 'how the hell can i top winning the CL with the current injury decimated squad' but this article is just well... poorly timed... we should be fucking confident and euphoric and going into this game with a nothing to stop us attitude.

How on earth does worrying about the state of our club on a message board hold us back as a club? What nonsense.

What I want to know is why is our manager doing a far ranging in depth reveal all interview with a spanish paper on the eve of the biggest Spurs game in decades which says stuff like 'key players want to leave', 'I had an offer from Madrid but Levy wouldn't release me" "I had no chance to buy any players". You don't see Klopp doing that.

How on earth is there any upside to this sort of stuff? Stop burying your head in the sand about the very real risk of all of this unraveling really quickly. The new stadium, frankly the novelty has worn off already, we need new signings and top players, ambition in the transfer market, not penny pinching from Levy and our manager doing bizarre reveal all interviews before a huge game. It doesn't signal much cohesion behind the scenes.
