Got the starting formation very very wrong. But Llorente was our only outlet the entire game. He played well, we just didn’t have enough quality in the final third. Dele clearly isn’t fit and Moura wasn’t at his best.
Llorente did not play well. He just was not as bad as usual. So slow and static he makes Huddlestone look like Hazard

He was terrible first half but by his standards he did is best second half and really put the effort in. It's not his fault he's not good enough.
I've been a harsh critic because he's never been a hard worker in a Spurs shirt either but I thought he really tried tonight, especially second half.

I suspect Llorente did precisely what Poch asked him to do, as he usually does. He was simply a presence to hold the ball up and try and feed other players into the game.
He did that consistently. And he did it well.
Ok, guess we will have to agree to disagree on that one.
