Yeah I get that, but I don't see why what the press guy said couldn't be said by Poch, the narrative now is that the oppressive club won't let the press ask Poch questions he'd love to answer.
Let them ask, let Poch tell them he's already answered the question last week...next question?
These press guys get to ask very few questions, 1 maybe 2 each...they'll stop asking about it when they realise they're wasting their questions.
My main point was the notion of banning certain press outlets is a bit daft really.
Asking Poch to comment on something Les Reed said on a TV show the night before, in a press conference regarding our upcoming match against Everton, was stupid...but we could've handled it better imo.
Because it’s the press guy’s job to, not poch’s. He did the same in the previous press conference towards the end of it when Man U was brought up again. Poch looked relieved at the time. I mentioned the occasion in this thread at the time. So I suspect it was pre-agreed not to ask the same questions again. Actually I think even before the press conference yesterday it was asked that there be no Man U questions but the sky guy asked anyway.
