Steffen Freund is on Soccer AM.

He coaches Under 17s in Germany and would like to manage in the Prem one day. Seems a funny guy!

To this day, I still wonder how he managed to get himself in the Hall of Fame. Really weird decision by the club. No offense to him, but it really downgrades the status of the other Hall of Famers.

For people of my generation he was and still is a king. Among the likes of Nicola Berti, Gary Doherty and Maruicio Tarricco, this man was and still is a legend. He pretty much sums up the 90's for me as a Spurs fan, and for better or worse, that for me entails legend status.

He obviously wasn't overly gifted but he was just about 1st man on the team sheet at that stage. Always gave 100% and was passionate about the clubs results, he also generally lined up the opposition playmaker. I use to love his occasional random long range bombs that use to end up in various parts of the stands... row 'v' or higher usually. He may well have been the very first signing when I became a Spurs supporter - he's a legend in my mind

Not a great player...but a great attitude that many far better players could do with emulating.

Totally committed to Spurs too. He still comes to watch games. There was an interview with him on the radio once when the game was on and he kept going quiet and not answering because he was concentrating on the action and not the interview. He has a great personality too . A legend to me.

He had the fight and determination our team lacked for so many years. I think that's why he was so well liked at the club. For all the flair and fancy football we've enjoyed over the years, we get just as much joy from seeing players like Freund, Zokora and Palacios fight for everything.

I bite!

One of my favourite all time spurs players. He wasn't a star but he was an effective midfield destroyer that had a good impact on our team. He was also a great guy - fully committed and really passionate about playing for us. He deserves the Hall of Fame nod for just how much of a legend he was for us - sure, he wasn't anywhere near as good as a player as many of his fellow HoFers, but as a symbol and fan favourite, he had a big part to play. Would love it if he came back as a coach someday.

Didn't he and Espen Baardsen go into the stock market after retiring and make lots of money? I think quite a few of our team from that era are rather successful businessmen now.
