Moved a few old player threads back here as we’ve been linked again. Who else needs doing?

I personally think Traore is absolute pony who’s not now a regular starter for Wolves but if Conte wants him then fair enough imo.

Traore? Might as well resign Sissoko and play him there. They’ve about the same footballing ability. He’d be a disaster. He’s strong and can run fast but has Ndombele levels of fitness. No, just no. I’d rather spend proper money and go for Lamptey or actually give Emerson a try for more than 3 months!

Mate, Sissoko is genuinely one of the worst footballers I've ever seen.

Traore has 10x the ability and is arguably one of the best dribblers in Europe and is tailor-made for that RWB position.

I would love Lamptey too, but he would most likely cost £50m+.

IMO, Lamptey would be perfect for us.

Uh oh. Personally hoping this doesn't happen, and honestly hoping the info is somehow a misunderstanding too. Obvs full respect to all ITK.
Saying that I'm disappointed if Conte et al want AT for RWB. He doesn't pass well and there is no evidence he can defend at all. We need RWB who will play excellent passes to put our forwards into scoring positions, and who can defend too. That means playing good positional football at both ends of the pitch all game, which means we need someone with a good engine. Sadly that's another thing there is no evidence AT has.
AT is a cul de sac footballer most of the time. Giving him the ball is a dead end far too often, as he blazes it high or wide, or loses it. That's not great if you're playing Striker, but it's really bad at RWB, when your role in possession is to help build up chances for others and retain the ball.
He won't improve us. I think he would be a liability actually, and teams will target him as he will be poor defensively, and his tackling will be,... well, very strong without good technique. I'd be expecting penalties and red cards. He will have the Vardys of the PL bouncing off his massive shoulders every week.
It's a No from me.
We would be better getting someone for whom we have evidence they can do things we want them to do.
All IMVHO, naturally.

Regarding Adama, I wonder if he is another player who wants a higher level and was discouraged that he didn’t leave in the summer. He was just about unplayable against us, as if he was auditioning, and I haven’t seen that player in the Wolves games I’ve watched since then.

No disrespect to Ally Gold - as I like the fella but I don't believe he knows what is going on between Conte and Paraciti.

I genuinely believe nobody really will to be honest. After those weird interviews and photoshoots, di marzio appears to be the one to keep an eye on for info.

agree with you, traore doesnt track back, after a couple of his sprints he walks about knackered, wolves fans talked about him at rwb to try in the hope of shoe horning him into their team but it seemed the majority didnt think he could play at rwb

Im also not keen on Traore BUT one thing for sure is Traore being knackered will become a thing of the past. Conte will have him in prime physical condition otherwise ta ta.

You simply can’t train a body builder type person to also run and run and run. Impossible. Watch the Olympics. He is bloody handy tho. If it’s 20m I would say yes. If we’re looking way more I would say balls deep for lampety. He’s got it all. Young and homegrown. And you Just know he is a proper Spurs legend in the making.

The Traore stuff is true. At the right price we'd definitely take him. FP really likes him and AC believes he has all the right attributes in his game to play RWB.
I stand corrected. Much obliged

There's always a difference of opinion on the merits of Traore, he doesn't do this or can't do that but there's no doubt that what he does best he does probably better than any other player. When he picks up the ball and runs at you and almost always past you, he's almost unstoppable. Defenders can't catch him nor can they knock him off the ball.

And yet according to itk conte disagrees with almost all of what you said....the truth is for me if conte thinks he can turn this guy into a rwb then give him the tools to do his job.....let's back the manager with the players HE wants

On debut, Traore skins a player and bursts free down the right, composes himself to cross to an awaiting Kane, who’s in acres of space…row Z

Conte - ‘did anyone check if he has a final ball?’

Coaching staff - ‘ummm…’
