I’ve had an absolute fucker of a day, which started just after midnight. While I’ve dipped in and out of this thread today, I’ve only caught tiny bits of info. Not sure I’ve got the strength to wade through the wank and the woes, so a very quick summary of the the main day’s ITK would be appreciated. Cheers

Hope today is kinder to you mate.

Still a **** though.

I’m lost with all the posts about fuck knows what. Just to try and get the state of play

We want Traore but Mendes is being a ****ing Farquhar
Everything else is uncertain

Thats also not our clubs fault. All the moaning should be directed at the FA, UEFA, and Fifa for allowing football to get in this state where it is dominated by owner funding rather than well run football clubs and the media and broadcasters are just as bad for glorifying it rather than pointing out how wrong it is. I have always been proud that no matter how difficult it is our club try to do it the right way.
I rated your post as “winner” because that’s always been my view .

But is it time to move away from the “right way” has football moved to far away from this now ? Is it time to change . Is Doing it the right way making huge amounts of money from the CL but not seeing it invested into the playing squad when required etc

IF we’d backed poch after the painful rebuild comments , we’d have his style , philosophy engrained in this club . We’d be set from top to bottom . We cut his time short and find our self’s In a mess again with no identity

The counter to this being that if Poch had been willing to compromise during ‘those’ transfer windows (and we’ve had intel that he refused to) maybe things wouldn’t be quite so bad.
I loved Poch, but he’s not entirely blameless with regard to the current state of the squad.

I'm going to go through the match thread and cross reference all the posters from here and there. If I find any of the "experts" in here on how things should and shouldn't be done, are also the same posters in the match day thread that don't know the off side rule I swear I'll never let them forget it. :D

Haven't you got a job to do? I mean, I only pop into this chat during my lunch break whilst working form home. Oh and a coffee break, and the times I need to walk away from my monitor,

Charging the highest prices for mediocrity is not the “right way”

Would be v happy with the second tier signings mentioned, if that’s how Ant wants to build it up

But we’ve been one short up top for too long now- it’s not good business sense to take such a risk. I fkin really hope a decent loan with an option signing can be sorted v soon.

Can someone tell me the last time ITK was actually discussed in this thread?
Imagine being banned from this thread and thinking we're all in here poring over the latest link, or deciphering a cryptic about Vlahovic. Although, TBH, they could just go to the ENIC thread for the same discussion as in here.

Terrifying watching Villa and Newcastle making big moves but not a peep from us. Even arsenal seem to be making moves this window aswell. Could of done with Traore for that semi final, or for the NLD which is arguably our biggest game this season. 2 days to go to get something over the line. I just don’t see it happening.
Arsenal is exactly at the same stage with making moves as Spurs?

And what a surprise, when a player has a release clause or selling club wants to desperately get rid of certain player it's easier and faster to buy him.

Poch needed a break after that CL final. You could see he was a broken man so it was inevitable that he wasn’t the one who was going to do the rebuild as his mental state wasn’t right.

Don’t mean to pick on you, but how does this relate to this thread?

Thread already derailed so I was just replying to someone’s comment.
Do you not realise that you're just keeping the 'derailment' alive by replying? Or do you think you get a free pass because you didn't start it?

Fuck it, thread already derailed. License to spam.

Get out.
