Having watched us overcome City in what could a season defining match, it made me wish I was there...

And that got me thinking about times that you could say: I was there.

What are you top 3 and why?

Mine:

Spurs 9-1 Wigan (ahem!)
Why - Scoreline - Nuff said.

Spurs V Watford
Why - Paul Robinson scored for us.

Spurs V Man Utd 1987.
My first visit to the lane, we beat them 4-0 and it was Hoddle and Waddles last game for us.

Edit -
Spurs V Chelsea League cup final 2008.
Seeing Ledly lift silverware!

Yourselves??

- Spurs 2-1 Arsenal (Nov 1995) my first Spurs game

- Spurs 5-1 Villa (May 2005) Memorable for Andy Reids only goal for the club, 25 yard screamer! Also remember singing Mido's name when we scored our 5th only to find out the scorer was in fact..........Stephen Kelly lol

- Arsenal 4-4 Spurs (Oct 2008) I was there, sat in the away end, behind the goal where Lennon equalised in stoppage time with my Gooner relatives, glorious! I had to run into a toilet cubicle and celebrate though.

Blimey, my list would be as long as a grand national winners cock. Or mine. I'll have to wait until I got time.

Oh yeah, just the top three, silly me.

OK

1981 FA Cup Final replay
1984 UEFA Cup Final
And Liverpool away, the first time we won up there since the Titanic sunk, 1985 (ish) i'll never forget that game/day out.

There have been so many in 50+ years watching Spurs

The 1967 Cup Final v Chelsea. My first ever trip to Wembley as a 10 year old.

The 1981 FA Cup Final replay. I thought I would go deaf when my Dad was screaming for Villa to pass the ball to Steve Archibald when he scored THAT goal.

The 1984 UEFA cup win at The Lane. I lost my voice for 2 weeks after that night.

Just to clarify : The 9-1 was against Wigan.

And...

I was there for : FA Cup Final vs Man C 1980-81, both games 1-1 & 3-2
........................: League Cup Final vs Chelsea 2-1 (the time we won in extra-time)
........................: CL vs Inter Milan 3-1 Bales (taxi for Maicon)
........................: PL vs Arsenal 2-1 last season (Kane's late headed winner)

Hahahahaha!
Shit.
I mean Wigan. The one where Bently hit the crossbar from a feekick and it hit the GK head and went in. And Defoe scored 5. I have the matchday programme somewhere as my proof lol Im off to edit my original post...

1984 UEFA CUP.
14 bunked the train from Milton Keynes with me mate (QPR fan) and got in free just after half time and saw us win the cup.

5 1 at whl vs chelsea. The arfa arfa game.

3 0 at whl vs everton. That goal from kanoute

2 1 at whl vs liverpool 08. Got battered most of the game, won it with 2 late goals

7 2 at whl vs soton. My first game at the lane! What a goal fest!

1 5 at riverside vs boro. Propah nawty. Some mush set the pub wed been escorted to on fire. Just an evil atmosphere in and out the stadium.

Actually a great day all considered

All those probably.

Cup semi final v Arsenal 1991
at City when we qualified for the CL
FA Cup final v Man City 1981

Are a good start.

What about games you are fed up you missed?

After seeing Spurs v Arsenal home and away virtually every game since 1969, I was on holiday in the early 80's when we beat them 5-0 at home, having been to the 0-5 at home in 1978... pleased we thrashed them but still fed up i missed the biggest thrashing of Arsenal in all that time!

'81 semi final replay v wolves at Highbury. Was in the clock end and seeing the north bank full of Spurs was a sight I'll never forget.

'82 away to Woolwich. Won 3-1. My first league visit to Highbury. Me and pals were in the home schoolboys enclosure until we scored then was pulled out by plod, marched round the pitch and chucked through the fence gate into the clock end.

UEFA Cup final '84. Stood in the Park Lane.

FA and league cup finals as well but those 3 stand out for me.

1991 FA Cup semi final - The Gazza one. Nuff said.

2008 CC final v Chelsea.

Spurs 3-1 Inter Milan.

Some other notable ones are the 9-1 v Wigan and a 6-2 win away v Wimbledon at Selhurst Park when we were getting dragged into a relegation scrap and Klinsmann scored 4.

Also another memorable game against Wimbledon at Selhurst Park - Carling Cup semi final 2nd leg where Iverson scored the winner. As it was Wimbledon and they had no fans we basically took over the whole side stand and there was a huge pitch invasion at the end. Crazy stuff.

And of course another game I will unfortunately never forget, but for the wrong reasons was the Muamba match v Bolton. Happened not 50 yards in front of me in the East Lower and I'll never forget it.

2-1 V Liverpool (Pav's last minute goal in the rain)
0-0 Milan the most tense game I've been too
