Went to Wentworth on Thursday this week to watch the PGA Championship. Never been to golf event before and I really enjoyed it. Obviously the lovely weather helped, but just wandering around that beautiful course, beer in hand and watching some great golf was so much fun.

Gonna make it an annual thing now I think as Wentworth isnt far from me.

Picked the best day. By far the quietest of the tournament

Some brilliant golf all week - glad for the Kiwi, who’s a top bloke

Thursday is a great day to go to a tournament. I find the weekend can leave you not really knowing what's going on. I went to the Open at St Andrews last year and didn't get any of the excitement of the day

We said next year we'll go on Friday as no work the next day, but the main part is hoping it's good weather, not like what it was today.

Nice shot from Bale yesterday - short Par 4 was playing about 250 yards, hit his 2iron just off the back of the green

6.30am KO tomorrow morning. Can’t wait. One of the great sporting occasions that first tee shot….

Getting up for the first hour of it before work. Bad planning has me out for the day so will likely miss the full days play annoyingly.

Delighted our game is 5.30 Saturday though as it should be finishing up around then.

I get as wound up about the Ryder Cup as I do a Spurs game. Its huge.

Been bullish about our chances for a while, but as the week is going on I'm wavering the other way. The Yanks look deep AF. I'm worried about Rose (done fuck all since Pebble), Lowry (picked on name I assume?!) and McIntyre.

Hopefully the TV coverage is better than the Solheim Cup.

Went around course on Tuesday and it’s an odd one, expect lots of long iron play off the tees as rough is brutal just off the fairways. Few real short par fours which could be entertaining. Great theatre.

That’s got to piss you off, do that tomorrow and he’d have landed legendary status now it’s no more than a nice anecdote at the bar

Just seen the tee times :wideyed:

First group teeing off at 6:30am... Rare time that I'm up before the little 'un

Tom Grennan is the weirdest booking for the opening ceremony. I like him but poor geez is giving it large to a bunch of fossils sat in chairs.
