Completely agree.

Lots of respect for Dier and Hugo for their service, but cannot understand why they and Ndombele have been turning down moves when they know they're not going to be included here. They planning to just sit on their contracts doing nothing?
I think they're probably hoping we'll rip up their contracts (whether full or partial) so they get a new club salary top up and effectively golden handshakes. I think we should stand firm.

The fact that people can still defend/make excuses for this shit is laughable. I cant even be arsed to whinge about our owners/chairman anymore as its just rinse and repeat every window. We are the idiots for believing things will change and for getting our hopes up.

Finally some pace + quality down the right. Can see Kulu losing his place swiftly.

I think they'll likely each start plenty of games, depending on the opposition/player's form/etc

Ange just said he never wants any player to feel comfortable (though I bet Romero & VDV are feeling pretty snug & cosy for the next few months)

I also don’t think there’s a risk of Dier or Hugo stinking the place up… I think it’s a safe bet they’ve made a calculated business decision in Hugo’s case, he has been told we are going to release him from the contract. So when that’s officially done, leaving by mutual consent, he will sign for another club as a free agent a day later and pocket the signing on fee. Dier wants the pay day in Jan to sign for a European team on a pre contract to pocket the signing on fee… so likewise, is waiting for us to come to the mutual consent tearing up of the deal, and then he too will miraculously find a club. This doesn’t feel remotely random.

Lack of self respect, only in it for the money, have got fat and lazy at the spurs holiday camp.

I don't think you can blame the players. In every walk of life some people prefer comfort and continuity over pushing the boundaries and I'm sure the club as a whole over the last few years has accustomed them to that. They have every right to reject any moves. It just does us no good to keep comfortable players around the new boys.
Of course he has a right to do it, but i'm saying it's not the attitude i'd want to encourage at the club. I bet Dorrington and Phillips would do anything to play.

And people can say what they like about Hugo, Dier etc but players with drive and hunger to win and compete at the highest level aren't going to just sit in the reserves for a year regardless of their contract circumstance.

That is the mentality we have built over the last 5 or 6 years.

Don't get me wrong they are more than entitled to do that, and I'm not slagging them off for sitting on their contracts. What I'm saying is I'll be glad to see the back of players with that mentality.

Hopefully we reach agreement with both and they are gone this week. I don't want players happy to coast, around a young hungry squad.
If they’re not registered and have been deliberately obstructive I’d make them train at home…….

Wonder what jobs Levy will get Hugo and Eric doing around the place. He aint going to let them sit at home getting paid for a year.

Anyone got a list of all our transfer failings over the years? Ie. Examples of where Levy has fucked up/been stingy or lacking a plan? Need to explain to a mate but want a solid list

I sincerely hope that those who should have left, but reportedly chose not to, despite having offers and despite knowing they’re not in Ange’s plans - namely Lloris, Dier and Ndombele - are not allowed anywhere near the rest of the squad.

Let them train alone, or not at all.

Window’s still open in Turkey and Saudi. Go force some moves there if you want.

They're not going to stink the place up but it doesn't exactly help cultivate a culture of desire does it? If I were Ange i'd be keeping them away. It's not as if we haven't warned them of the consequences of their actions.

Window;

5.5 / 10
Window up to Kane Sale - 8/10 (would be higher if we’d sold more than just Winks)
Window from Kane sale - 1/10 (I’ll give the one for Brennan). Lost our best player, didn’t shift a single bit of deadwood permanently, bought one player with Kane money
