So, Harry does his ankle and it's false 9s for the season

All under the watchful gaze of the false transfer genius sitting in the west stand

On a serious point, I think levy's inability to develop friendly but business-like working relationships with other club bosses damages us at times like this

How can it be good business to year on year fuck up your most important issue your staff. Levy is a joke and in turn is making us look like clowns year in year out with his pathetic brinkmanship. I'm sure the bsodl have some clever quip to come back with but remember it isn't Enics money that will pay for the stadium, it isn't Enics money that will bridge or pay for the loans but it is enic that will sail off with the profits.
Disgusted we are left with one recognised forward it's incompetence on a grand scale and it is a common recurring theme under this clown.

This is @ryantegan thoughts , so credit to him, but it sums up the general consenus about Levy and Lewis:

E - Erase all memories of glory
N - Net spend is everything
I - Increase ticket prices
C - Commercial side matters most

They'll all be rocking back and forth muttering "net spend", "not doing a Leeds", and "stadium" over and over again.

People keep saying we're a well run business, but this is a prime example of diabolical planning that puts the success of the 'product' in jeopardy.

the idea that someone can defend us as a well run business is absurd. we are staying afloat, which isn't a well run business, it's literally the bare minimum a chairman should do

We needed a midfielder and a striker. At the very worst we should have got a striker but we can't even fucking manage that.

Not even a fucking loan. We've had all fucking summer.

It's indefensible in my eyes.

I don't consider a new training ground and 400 million stadium "very little".

What time the parade tomorrow.

Also you forgot the world class Sainburys .

Mid table is about where we're at now. Usual top 4, with Liverpool, Southampton, Swansea, West Ham, and Stoke all strengthening. We have an improved our defence but that wont win you games as we have already found, we look toothless in attack as has been proven already with 3 draws out of the 4 opening games. Poch has a tough task and we will need to over achieve big time to finish top 6.

I can understand why people generally have the hump but we've bought 2 attacking players and have last season's outstanding attacking player from the Championship to introduce to the side to address the "toothlessness". Our defence last season was the main reason we sometimes found it tough to win games (check the goals conceded column from the final table) so there is logic behind the significant strengthening there.

It's been a shit window. That is not because we haven't signed players but because we're weak in key areas. I don't agree in leaving it late or winding up other clubs, we need to make things a win win, maybe loaning decent prospects to clubs we court. In any case, we're currently a CM and CF light, not cool.

I think an imbalanced squad flakes under pressure, I think we could have good moments this year but will finish 8th.

BSoDL...protect the Queen! Apologetic mode activate!

Did we even get our crucially important CM? I was asleep after a night shift, but I fucking doubt it.

I think Son will prove to be better than any of our attacking midfielders from last season. However I don't think you're far off. If Kane gets injured for any length of time (or simply has a prolonged lack of form) we're going to look incredibly weak. We've already got one of the most powderpuff midfields in the league, so I don't think a mid-table finish is beyond the realms of possibility.

I think that I'd be surprised if we finish top 8. Swansea West ham palace all look stronger than last season and at best were about the same. Love to be proved wrong but cant see it at the moment. Ive supported spurs for 40 years and cant remember when ive been less excited about the team or a new season.

How are we about the same? We have better defenders and better attacking midfielders. We only really had one striker last season anyway.

I think Njie and Son will play in some parts as the striker... not the best candidates for leading the line, but they came the closest.. entirely possible IMO

but unless Bentaleb got a diet upgrade, the vulnerability at DM will prove to be the failings of Levy.. the lack of DM is atrocious.. he had not fucking learn his lessons apparently from Schneiderlin last season..

I feel really sympathetic towards Poch, he cannot win this season. One injury to Kane and we will be lucky to finish top 10 or possibly lower.

The problem is he will have to play Kane every game, no matter form or even slight injurys. We have to go for the Cups as people will literally stop supporting the club if we start trying to lose games on purpose. (me for one) There is one other option:

We have Emanuel 'saviour' Adebayor, we need to have an open letter from the fans to say how sorry we are and how difficult it is for him to be a professional footballer. Please, please Ade we need you, you are clearly the best striker at the club (etc) and ask him nicely to remove the juju that he passed from Soldado to Kane this season.

On the bright side of things the likes of Carrol, Alli, Pritchard and even Townsend should get a lot of games.

As for Daniel Levy, yes he is holding us back. He has done alot of good but to leave us in this position is a disgrace.

30 years a fan, I stopped giving money to spurs years ago when I realized what ENIC were all about and that success on the pitch was just a side issue. This season for the 1st time I stopped watching the matches, I no longer wanted to give my time to the listless ship we have become. This summer window is just par for course with them, they've fucked up so many, I can only hope they cash in soon so I can try and get my love of Spurs back, as off now I'm guessing I've enjoyed this season more than most Spurs fans... by not watching any
