Also bit harsh considering his brother's just died. Doesn't fit with the AVB I've read about in his biography. Came across as a very compassionate fella.

Theres a lot of things in his biography which, on last season, are miles from the truth. However i do agree with you on this one.

It's strange but I'd completely forgotten about Adebayor, shame as he can always add to the squad. This time is obviously understandable, but even last season there were times where you wouldn't hear anything in the week and then come the squad announcement before kick off he'd be out with a mystery injury.

Hope he stays fit this season. I don't really want him to go as I think he could always be a useful player to come off the bench.

Hello

Just been told to expect some movement on the Gareth Bale situation today.

It wasn't good news.

Truckload of salt obviously.

Also the SP hold up is down to him but I can't elaborate in public yet what the hold up is.

So....

as it currently stands, assuming *ahem!* does one, the options are:-

DM : Roy and Hayley, with Roys mum as backup in case of suspensions/injuries.
Box to Box: Steve and Lloyd, again with Eileen as backup
AM: Rita and Norris, with the lovely Ms Keegan as an option for Europa League/Cup Games......

Not too shabby at all!

No problem if its bad news as in we've accepted an offer - think we all expect it TBH - just really hope its not bad news as in we are accepting a low offer!

Thanks JJ

I will look at the silver lining here, as you said yourself that the replacements will be good. (Coentrao, Lamela, Soldado if I have presumed right)

To be honest, I think this whole situation really just needs a resolution at this point. It sounds like all sides are just about ready to move on if we get the right offer. If we've gotten that, then we can be upset we lose a good player, but we can take solace in knowing we got what we considered to be a good return for him.
