Hold on, this fella knows the trick to be woken up with a blowie.

Football and ITK is now on hold until we get the secret ingredient.

Strapped in and ready. Where are we going today then?

By the end of today I'm hoping for Willian to be announced and Lamela and Chiriches 'done' and reportedly flying in for a medical together with some info suggesting Coentrao is now likely and separate to any Bale deal.

An extraordinary wishlist for any other window but only slightly optimistic in the context of this one.

Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we'll see any transfers Stoof-stamped in or out today. With Andre and the squad located way out east, I think that it's likely we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see any confirmations of Willian or anyone else - not because AVB necessarily has anything to do with the finalising of transfers, but more because the THFC PR machine will want the focus nicely on tonight's game.

Only downsides would be that would all these players get enough game time to be happy and with so many ins and outs during this window would the squad gel well and still have the fun atmosphere they seemed to have before.

Ahhh but we've got the key ingredient to make this work...................................take a bow Mr AVB!!

I disagree.

I think Willian, Lamela, Bale and Chiriches will all be in the team tonight.

If Bale leaves I will hold no grudges. He has been ultra-professional from the day he signed for Spurs. I can´t remember a single episode where he has put the club in a bad light. I can´t remember seeing any drunken pictures of him in the tabloids. In my eyes he has done an excellent job and is maybe the best role-model for kids in world football today.

He has never uttered a negative word towards our club and I am sure he feels highly for us. I think the single reason why he wants to move on is his ambition. Regarding Bale I actually do not believe it´s only about the money. I think the kid is truly ambitious and have higher ambitions than we can offer him at this time. I don´t think Bale is content by finishing 4th and playing CL qualifiers.

So dear Gareth; if you decide to leave I wish to thank you for the ride. I for one have truly enjoyed it. And I hope that if you ever return to WHL it will be for us and not any other english club.

Sorry for making this sound like a suicide letter.

We will always have Milan.

I know we have very little control over it, but if we sell Bale and it was financed by Arsenal buying Di Maria and Benzema then I'll be more than a little put out.

As I see it, there are 2 buttons to be pressed here. Real Madrid's to meet our asking price and ours to buy Lamela. We have done a fantastic job over the past couple of days to line up Lamela as our insurance policy and I'm very surprised that Roma have appeared to play ball.

I'd put that down to the Baldini effect..........and a sack full of cash! (y)

Hello, I already introduced myself late last night my time on yesterday's thread, but I am new here. Look forward to talking spurs with you all.

On Bale, I do think he's off because of our spending spree we seem to be on. But I find myself clinging to hope that Madrid can't afford him without some ridiculous pay schedule like the 6 year one rumored. And I think we know that Levy won't be accepting that.

If Arsenal buy any RM player before they buy Bale, I hope Levy tells Perez to fuck off with any offer because he lost any chance at getting Bale. Will be fuming if we sell Bale and Arsenal get DiMaria or Benzema!

Bloody hell, 4 messages and 35 positive ratings. You'll do well here.

Welcome.

As for Arsenal, the thought that them strengthening will actually financially contribute to us losing Bale is almost unbearable. Not only because they strengthen but because their detritus fans will be crowing about how they got Bale sold and got two worldies in the process - whether that's true or not

So many suggesting that we are or have spent the bale money already. This is not the case I am sure, Can you really believe that Levy and co are sanctioning all these transfer based on the possibility that bale will signed for Madrid? No way! To do that we would have to of sold bale already and received the transfer fee!

There has been loads of itk on Lewis giving us a cash injection and this for me is the most probable reason. Anyone who believes that Levy has taken a chance and is spending money that he does not have are being naive at the very least.

If Bale is funded by Arsenal strengthening, everyone who has been laughing at them should be stoned.

Doesn't anyone learn from speaking to soon?

We won't get in the CL then.

However, I don't believe Benzema is for sale, he is their senior centre forward. I don't think Di Maria is a Wenger player. Talented, but greedy, and erratic. He wouldn't pass the famous Wenger psychometric tests.

First of all, welcome to the community yankspurs:) personally i still think that bale isent going and that we are building a team around our star player, hope im right in saying that all these decent players coming in are not only coming in to play for a top top club, but also to play along side one of the best players in the world :)
