talk about dramatic.
we signed 3 of the hottest prem players last season (dembele, dempsey, siggy) as replacements for players who were 100% gone (modric, vdv). brilliant work by levy. it just seems bad because we thought we had mouts 100%.

Hottest? Get a grip. They're not Silva, Rooney and Kompany. They're 3 players than shone in mid table teams. Charlie Adam at blackpool ring a bell??

Didnt seem much, they were just going on that Levy and AVB were still at the Lodge. Cant see this happening.

They didn't say "OMG IT COULD STILL HAPPEN", they just can't confirm it's off.

That at least means Levy hasn't given up I would guess.

Am I the only one that is really lost at the moment? We seem to be going from tears of pain and suffering to tears of joy, there is only one club that can do that to you and that is spurs!

Coys!

Don't get excited people, the angry amongst us will only get angrier when it doesn't happen. And the happy people will be slightly annoyed too. It's SSN being SSN. If it happens, I'll post something nice about Jim White.

Well Arsenal and Liverpool had a much worse transfer window than Spurs.

With 6 good players in (Siggy, Verts, Lloris, Dempsey, Dembele, Ade) that counts as a success.

Clearly Moutinho was a disappointment - and was due to player not wanting to join ultimately. Solely wages or also no CL- and maybe both together as CL would have meant Spurs being able to afford higher wages.Modric always going and difficult to replace

I would have preferred VDV to stay - but maybe family pressures meant he felt a need to join his wife in Germany. That's perfectly acceptable. From a footballing perspective Dempsey got 17 goals last season so VDV's goals will not be so missed between Dempsey and Sigurdsson.

Time fior careful reflection tomorrow, but its certainly NOT the suicidal problem that some posters seem to be making out. In perspective, as I said at the beginning, Arsenal and Liverpool fans will be envious of Spurs success in this TW

Fucking hell.

You guys have spent too much time together this summer.

It would appear that your periods have aligned and all come today.

Chill. We did good business.

Leandro in Jan.
Exactly, Leandro could come in and help us cross the line for fourth (I honestly beleive he will). Modric wanted out, VDV too, Moutinho could not quite make it happen, that's unfortunate, however we still have a promising squad and will be in the thick of it by Jan.

SSN are bastards. Why keep us on the hook? We've given up, but we are still staying tuned in to stare at Natalie's bangers.
