You don't need to fly someone out these days. You can have a phone or video conference, agree to terms, and have forms signed and sent to the proper 3rd parties almost instantly. If we want a player, and we work a deal, it will get done, regardless of where he is.

not if you want a full medical

Tbh I'm very skeptical of any person claiming to have real time information re. transfers on deadline day. The only people I believe have this kind of source are maybe JJ and Potl. Whoever else claims to know what we are doing would have to have direct contact to AVB/DL/Donna Cullen, or some sort of person directly involved in what we are doing tonight and let's be honest they are not going to waste time they could be using to tie up transfers in calling SSN and letting them know that our deals are falling through.

Or Levy wants all the headlines tomorrow for Tottenham, and maybe we annouce 2,3 or 4 signings last minute!

How does this work?
Falcao is playing for A.Madrid tonight, What happens if he gets injured?

Then he fails the medical and Levy can't complete the deal, Why are A.Madrid risking a potential £50millon deal?
