Swapping Rafa for Dempsey leaves me so cold. The only small comfort is how much that and Dembele will annoy my Fulham season ticket holder mate. He can't stand Spurs as it is.

he wasn't desperate to leave though, im sure he would have been willing to stay for at least another season. in essence we are repacing vdv with dempsey, which makes us weaker.

No Dempsey would come in as a wide option, which we need.
If (and yes, its a big if at this stage!) all goes to plan Moutinho, Dembele and Sigurdsson have come in to replace Modric/VDV.
