If the teams around us had strengthened considerably then I'd be worried but they haven't so I'm happy, you can't say that we are in a weaker position than we was at the start of the window considering how many times Corluka & Pav have played in the league for us.

everyone is going on about signing ryan nelson but he will be 5th choice, we dont need to spend a fotune on some world class cb as we have Caulker back next year! Its a perfectly acceptable stop gap who will only be employed in an emergency.

and I'm fine with Saha too, provided and PROVIDED its with the view of signing someone awesome in the summer.

I agree with all of this

For a Jan transfer window, im happy.

My reservations over nelson are every time iv watched him hes either been sent off or kicked shit out of the opposition hes what i would call a stoke player!

No thank you simple!

would rather loan somebody else infact i would sooner take Wes Brown on loan or even bloody titus bramble!

Can i ask why JJ info isnt in ITK section??

He asks for it to be omitted - doesn't want the attention.

you forget that he's injured. don't medicals have to be passed in order for the transfer to go through? how on earth could he pass a medical?

He's back in training. 50/50 for the next game apparently.

And it'sa four month loan,so not a bigfinancial risk.

sorry about the space bar again.

I know what u mean have sky sports news on, waiting for gam on laptop and SC ITK on phone

Love when people say "Oh but were 3rd!" With our hard fixtures coming up that could drastically change very easily and we could be out of the top 4 in a month. I understand that its very difficult to get big players in Jan, but in order to stay at the top you have to add quality to your squad that will help keep you there/improve. But instead we sign Saha and Nelson....I really do despair sometimes. Hope this is a sick joke from JJ.

Couldn't agree more, spot on! Why not splash out and take a leap when we are in the position we are in the league??

The biggest concern I've got is that come the last week of August we'll be having the exact same discussion on here. I don't buy into the idea of Remy, Hazard, Leandro all being agreed for Summer - that's totally unrealistic. At best, in the last week of August we may or may not squeeze one of them.

I do feel that with one added bit of quality we could win this league - but now our squad looks so thin, I can't see beyond 4th at best. Everyone seems to have convinced themselves we've finished 3rd - we haven't. there's a long long long way to go yet.

Is our squad strong enough to do it? Time will tell, unfortunately I think my guess is that no it's not - and we'll all be rueing this window come the Summer.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong - and also I wish Harry would stop fu****g us about and either commit or otherwise, we cna't afford to be in limbo until after the Euros, which is what I can see happening - just giving us further excuses not to act on transfers!!
