For the first time in my entire Spurs life (21 years) I feel we are fully prepared to contest all cups this year. We have a phenomenal squad depth and with Lamela and possibly Eriksen we are only getting stronger. We have the ability to play our very good squad players and youngster in the Capital One Cup, first XI in the FA Cup, fist XI in Premier League and a rotational squad in the Europa depending on what stage of the competition and level of the opposition.

Looking like a very bright lilywhite future.

Can't explain how happy I am that we are in talks to sign Eriksen, watched him so many times and wished we would sign him. Nothing sorted yet and am concerned that overmars is going public to lure in other bidders.... Namely that lot from Woolwich. I am very confident however if we do sign him, that the doubters will be proved wrong and then some. COYS

Possibly yes. But if the deal for Bale is to be a world record I can only see a RM player coming to us in some desperate kind of deal

ps. have no idea whether he's past it - haven't seen much of him for years. From what I hear, he doesn't get regular games so he MIGHT still have it but doesn't get the regular football to show it.

Jesé seems most likely to me.

Very highly regarded yet not getting much of a look in for the first team. With Bale's arrival, he may not even make the bench.

Plays as a left winger, can play in the hole of even as a centre-forward. Don't know too much about him. Ronaldo-esque in style, so they say...

Eriksen plays the same position as Cazorla, I'd be surprised to see them in for him.

For me Eriksen seems like a good young prospect. Seen a few of his games, good passing, dribbling, and free kicks. For someone so young, price seems perfect.
