I’m not assuming the worst? If we sign someone else great, if not then no big deal. We would usually hear murmurs of a deal being plausible if it was going to happen is all I’m saying.

If we were after anyone we would of heard a whisper or something by now. The only player we might have a 5% chance of getting is Zaniolo and I doubt that because someone desperate like Everton will offer better terms than that tight twat Levy.
Every window it's 1 in 2 out if we are lucky all about profits for him.

Yes but it’s because players likely Isco and zaniolo have seen moves collapse and could still move late. Seems almost certain we are done for reason you state but you never know. Also think we’d need a player out given cl registration restrictions

It has been incredibly quiet today after a flurry of ITK in the morning. Would love a last min special but I think being realistic it’s very unlikely.

I get every point that has been made above. However, the point I'm making is that it isn't over yet.
I understand we would have to be pretty far into a deal for it to be done now, but take Zaniolo for example. We have been negotiating for him since last summer, surely that could be done pretty quickly.

It has that very familiar feeling at this stage. We'll get some exciting news soon to stir us into a wild 1 hour frenzy, after which things will fizzle out and we'll be keeping a forlorn eye on things until deadline.
It's been an okay window with Porro coming in as a first teamer and Danjuma providing some cover. I hoped we could make it a great window with that CB or Zaniolo signing.
