Hmmmm...I think if we sign Remy it would definitely mean the end of our Bernard interest as he would come as wing forward cover as well as to play CF.

I'm hoping for ITK on how Chadli has affected our Bernard interest today.

I could live with Remy as long as it didnt mean instead of Soldado or someone of similar ilk, hes not really a centre forward is he? I think Chadli would play the Remy wide forward role for us anyway, no?

It's all about having options. Other than Bale we didn't have a wide player who could score last year. If we suddenly had three of them that would be a massive boost to the squad.

I echo the feelings of those who wouldn't want him to be the only striker we sign, but if we've supposedly got 40m+ to spend, you'd imagine a fair whack of that would go on another striker.

I think Remy would do a decent job for us but we should not bid for him until his legal issues are over or insert a clause that we get our money back from QPR if he goes to jail

I think Bale did pretty well last year on occasion didn't he? Verts would be my second choice.

Yeah agree with you, I would definitely be happy for us to get him as long as we brought in a new no.9 too Remy and Soldado/Leandro I would be more than pleased with.

It was me that posted the Remy ITK and I think I have been verified with regards to this source, it was a few years ago but whenever I've posted info from him before it has gone in the RO forum, but I posted it in here rather than in the RO forum as I couldn't remember the routine you're supposed to go through...I don't really care either way tbh as the whole ITK thing is increasingly turning into a bit of a waste of time, with the advent of Twitter sending every bit of info worldwide within minutes. But I woke up this morning to a message from him saying we had bid for Remy (under £7m for the record) and thought I'd share it with everyone. It's very much QPR ITK that happens to involve us rather than Spurs ITK.

No way dude. None of us wants that, but innocent until proven guilty eh. Plenty of rumours going around that the case is weak, but if he's guilty I want nothing at all to do with him.

After what they paid for Downing, Henderson and Carroll i think we should be able to get them to reverse the 1 and 8 to get Lennon

I'm coming round to the idea of Remy in a big way.

Remy will be playing for a place in the France squad for the World Cup next year. A good season for us and he's in so he'll be playing out of his skin.

Could be an inspired signing...
