Morning all

I'm not sure why there is confusion as to what is and isn't acceptable in the ITK Discussion Thread. I was about to explain it all again, you know, lay it out for some of you but I just can't be arsed to go through all that again. So if you're bemused, confused or downright perplexed, if you really don't get it, simply (yeah) read the thread title and repeat it to yourself over and over again. Eventually it will hit you like an express train running through the middle of your head, to borrow a lyric from The Boss.

The Daily ITK Discussion Thread, huh, good god, what is it good for? Absolutely ITK say it again…..

There. All sorted. There's no need to thank me yokels :p

Right, there's been ITK, although nobody posted it in the Read Only so i'm off to do that now.

Yesterday Gards44 said….Lwf a new name been mentioned by a few people Julian Green

Julian Green eh? Wouldn't say no. I guess it's only a matter of time before some enterprising ITK comes out with a colour combo for this one, oooh lets say Red & Green. The Likely prime suspect is a certain 100% truthful ITK who wouldn't dream of taking SC to court because some deluded people think he is a ritual fibber :sneaky:

PS: It strikes me that I have been neglecting my duties as host in not giving Levy some stick this transfer window, which has resulted in some of the BSoDL getting rather complacent. We'll have to change that, so you can expect the odd ditty in the thread throughout the day and a few opening posts on Levy between now and deadline day.

PPS: Have a wonderful day of ITK. In fact, Have a magnificent Monday no matter who you are or where you are. A&C loves you. Well, your mums to be accurate, but you know…….Gotta pretend you like the kidz too :cautious:

Morning Yids. Been linked via ITK with Julian before. Will definitely strengthen the U.S link which I feel is essential for is in the years to come.

Julian Green is not going to be better this season that Chadli/Townsend/Lennon, this has to be a buy for the future. He's played one sub appearance for Bayern's first team and one sub appearance for the US in the World Cup. He's not going to come into the Premier League and play right away. Would be shocked by that happening.

(And I love what his potential could be as a USMNT fan but he's not what we need right now)

That's the problem... By the time he is what we need now, it'll be too late to buy him.

Alongside immediate first team players we need to look to the future. Once he's established (if it happens) at Bayern we will find it difficult to compete.

Julian green is great with both feet and is quick. Technically sound and has an end product. He would certainly be pushing first team with pochettino there!

It's all about the American link. Good player but financially he will benefit us as our fan base in the US and the shirt sales will rocket. As per Dempsey, only Green will give us more years which equals more moniiiiies.

Not disputing his [potential] ability though as he doesn't just have speed he has excellent vision and technique for his age too.

An end product? Does he? He scored at the WC with a mis-hit shot. I'm all for bringing him in as a youngster with potential but not as our 1st choice left sided forward.

Must be cheap too, like Holtby cheap. Otherwise this could be another pointless venture

I hear all of that but if he's really that good why can't he get into the first team squad at Bayern?

NON spurs ITK (but connected in a way)

QPR face competition for Rafa Van der Vaart. Saints are interested too.

Hmmm. The last time we signed someone purely on the basis of opening up new commercial channels overseas was Toda. I wish I could erase it from my mind, but sadly it's burnt in like a bad childhood trauma.

So not suited these days to how Poch wants to play, he'd last even less than 60 minutes he used to manage!

Saying that, I'm with you...

Sentiment rules and to see him in a Spurs shirt again would be beautiful.
Proper Spurs Player.

Julian is Bayern Munich first team at 18 years old. Pep says he's in his plans for this season. In other words, Pep thinks he's good enough to be backup for Ribery and Robben.

Pretty sure that's good enough for me.

Good enough for you? Yeah by all means, he'll improve your PowerLeague team dramatically... Good enough for Spurs to spend finite resources on? Nah
