Yeah the Lavia signing is not as unrealistic as people think.

Big outlay but protected by the huge resale potential.

It's a question of whether he'd choose us.

Sending PEH the other way, if he'd go, could give us an edge with Southampton.

Hojbjerg obviously isn’t going to play in the Championship. He’s been linked with Bayern and Atleti this window ffs

Do you think PEH is going to go be willing to go back to Southampton and the Championship?

I'd be very surprised if Bayern were really that interested but we'll see.

I've always thought he was a limited player albeit he'd give his all but there's no way I see him running the midfield for some of the biggest Clubs in the world lol.

Lavia seems like overkill (in a good way), but if we get our CBs sorted out, I say what the hell!

There's absolutely zero chance Hojbjerg goes the other way

Ask for Kane and get Hojbjerg? Levy would manage to get back in my good books if he pulled that off 😅

There would certainly be a market for Hojbjerg. His stock is still pretty high and he's a key player in a good Denmark side whom a lot of people pay attention to. He was one of our better performers last season in all honesty, he can just get horribly exposed in a 2 man midfield at times. I think he'd be one of our more sellable assets so maybe he's one that Ange has decided to sacrifice for the funds.

To me he plays more as the box to box player for Denmark but gets used as a defensive player for us. Decent player but would end up as a squad player behind other modifiers we have now.

If we can replace him with someone better, I am all for it! But he does get a lot of stick that's unjustified IMO.

Can't believe we've already signed Vicario, Maddison and if I've understood the tweet I saw last night correctly, Phil the Power Taylor. Promising start to the season and in multiple sports too!
