As long as options A, B and C fit the right profile it's the right way to do business.
You may still get the odd player who will need to drag until the window closes but most key signings should be done this early.
It's great to see these young exciting prospects being linked too. I never felt we would be a good choice for those players under Jose or Conte.
It feels like we could be an exciting club for young players now similar to when we had Poch. An exciting style of football at a top level Premier League club who will give youth a chance. How I have missed those days. I just hope the next one is a centre back.

Big ange fully involved . What is strange is his attack on the window he’s ruthless and won’t wait. Option 4 could turn out better then option 1 in the way his thinking is makes are approach so much more flexible . Doesn’t mean they will succeed as we haven’t seen them play yet but it’s a different way to what we have had for a while.

From the more recent ITK it seems plenty of plate spinning, but so much more defined, clear and coach fully aligned. That’s what is so exciting. Still shocked by the speed of the JM signing.

Lavia would be a dream for Ange as the 6 pivot and can be a cornerstone of our team for years to come.

Flies in the face of looking at '£15-£20m' gems though per D1 and competition is fierce for his signature so I can't imagine Southampton would want a quick sale if they can instigate a bidding war.

Nevertheless, another impressive link and gives me confidence in the recruitment department - would probably be prudent to have a thread on Lavia now not to clog the ITK thread.
