Chadli for me is the only real disappointment and who says he wont be replaced. Bentaleb has hardly featured and we still own him, Mason clearly isn't up to the role...

Feel so conned when I take a step back.

We've brought in 3 senior players off the back of our best season in decades in which we achieved CL football - and you could argue not one of would get into our strongest eleven.

Paint it how you want, that's pretty shit.

Why? Our first XI was clearly set up as a youthful team to grow and improve together as a unit. Just because a couple of players have had rusty starts to the season (and still come away with decent points) doesn't suddenly make them bad. Anyway, ITK...

I think you're talking for a minority.

Our XI is far from perfect and we should be striving to improve it or at least sign someone who is on parity... Not add depth.

Like I said other day, we could have made our signings if we finished 7th.

I wanted to see real ambition to sign a top tier player, not half arsed attempts to appease us.
Both Wanyama/Janssen have come in and immediately made a push to start. I'm sure you were happy with Tripps and Davies coming in and making Rose/Walker better because they had competition. This is the same thing.

And we aren't making transters to appease YOU. We're making them because Poch thinks it will improve the team. I don't think he gives a shit what EnfieldYiddo thinks about his transfers.

I said half arsed attempts (that had no chance of actually materialising) - you've not read what I've put.

You need to open your eyes if you think Levy has never bid for a player to appease the fans/manager with no intention of pulling it off.

At this point only players you can sign are:

Players who are not wanted by a club - aside from Isco can't think of anyone who fits this and is good enough for us.

Youth players from lower leagues - got enough prospects at club already.

We find player who isn't necessarily available but we pay enough to force club to sell - obviously we're not doing that.

It's over.

Berahino? He would need a good kick up the arse to get him playing again though! Probably a bargain price (again)

I'm genuinely worried about just getting N'Koudou done now at this stage.

Relax, we're just finalising the edit on N'Koudou signing ft. Chas & Dave video for Twitter. United aren't the only ones that pull out all the stops for marketing.

We started the window short 2 players; a DM and a striker. We signed them almost immediately. We then had a swap deal with Marseilles for N'Koudou with N'Jie going the other way(still not done yet btw). We then proceeded to sell our dead wood and 2 youth players while looking to sell Chadli, Mason and Carroll only if we brought 2 players in. We then heard we've signed another keeper(also still not done yet and now that looks to be off). Chadli and Mason have since been sold and no one has come in. Carroll still might go.

In short, we've ended the window where we left off, 2 players short. The worrying thing is, we still lack the necessary quality and still lack someone to push Eriksen, someone who desperately needs the competition.

Am I surprised? Absolutey not. Completely expected this. Levy always leaves us short in at least 1 area. This time, he's ledt us short in bodies and quality. If Poch can have a repeat of last year(without the end of season collapse this time), it will be an absolutely unbelievable achievement.

Are these the totals as of now?

Ins - Wanyama (11), Janssen (17), N'Koudou (10 - maybe) - 38 mil pounds total if GNK actually comes

Outs - Ward (0.6), Pritchard (8), Yedlin (5), Chadli (13), Mason (10), Fazio (loan with 3 mil option), Bentaleb (loan with 17 mil option), N'Jie (loan with 7 mill option), Townsend (12 mill from winter) - 48 mil total (Not counting loan options)

Meanwhile the Spurs Official Twitter account continue to monitor the meltdown being had here over GKN and postpone the announcement a little longer - just for bants.... they wouldn't.... would they?

I do wonder if the Club are active on this forum...

Sissoko is a bullet dodged. Would want a big contract, big fee and is erratic at best.

If we get through this NOT signing moderate PL talent like him or Zaha we have done better than bringing them in.

Apparently Mason was £13m, Pritchard was £9m and we probably got around £1m total for Ward and Ball. I have £52m not including the loan options. The loan fees might total £1m, i'd imagine. So £53m and maybe another £27m on the buy options. But that'll come next year
